Reason for asking is because my wife is the primary driver and she has digital key, but we can’t figure out how to a) share that key with me and b) make my phone also have the ability to unlock, lock, and drive.
How about the digital key plus? Where you don't need to take the phone out of your pocket. Have you tried that yet? Is it reliable? Seems it should be available for the 2023 and on models.

I have a question for you. I noticed you have cold and hot cup warmers what x5 and package is that I selected every option available on the website but I can’t find this option nor the glove box scent machine package. Can ha k you for your help with the learning of the key card.
In the beginning of the vid, you forgot to mention you have both original keys to the car with you inside the car, which is a prerequisite if I remember correctly ; )
having to put the phone in the charging spot is horrible as the wireless chargers are horribly designed, cause the phone to overheat and actually lose charge overtime
The regular Digital Key sucks balls. Instead, Digital Key Plus is the way to go as you can just leave your phone in your pocket. And the implementation is native with iPhone unlike Tesla's inferior solution.
I thought about that but you can disable express mode so that you can only open the car if you auth to your phone first, similar to using apple pay / google pay. In that case if the phone is stoled, it cant be used to open the car

does the phone have to remain there in the wireless charger while driving? if so, that will cook the battery very fast
No, after the car is on you can remove the phone.

It only takes a few seconds with my X5. I use this feature a lot, especially when going to the gym.
