Thank God for people like Douglas Murray. One of the very, very few people who actually articulate what the people are thinking and feeling. I'm grateful for his words and wish him to continue. We need him and other like minded people to speak up for what's right.

Absolutely. I'm generally left-wing but I have large concerns about immigration, Islam and our demographic changes. Douglas is one of the few people who doesn't either make dogwhistles for the far-right or self-censor to make himself PC. It's a difficult line to tread and he walks it well.

She's a snotty git. At the end of the piece she in effect said the people can say what they want but we leaders will decide. Providing leadership doesn't confer the right to ignore public opinion. That's the attitude that saw Trump elected and Britain vote Brexit.

Andrew Tucker The demographic change is that the birth rate in Europe is negative, meaning that the population will die out eventually at this rate. Furthermore the more cosmopolitan cities and areas in Europe are considered more desirable and expensive to live in. Furthermore, even the slightly provincial towns can be quite depressing places and can do with some colour ....some are dead as a door nail after 5. Not to mention remote and deserted places. BTW, consider also migration from Europe, especially of the professional and the educated.

They have no choice but to accept constant flow of immigrants because of low birth rate and ageing population. With out them their society and economy would bleed to death. There will never be an end to immigration.

The 5,000 Ugandan Indians who came to Leicester, my home city, (4:10) didn't come and demand that we bend over backwards for them. They worked hard, many lived in appallingly over-crowded houses and did jobs far below their abilities. The majority of them were not Muslims. I have a Hindu friend who's parents came in that wave of immigration and his name is Paul, he has siblings and cousins with names such as Dave, John, Linda, Sarah, etc. because their families wanted them to integrate with the host nation. Paul tells me that whilst most English people don't bat an eyelid over the fact that he has an English name he has been subjected to some vile abuse from immigrants because of his parents wishes for their children to integrate. One of his cousins is so well integrated that he has run a pub for many years. That's the way to do it.

This bint talks about Leicester (a city I used to live in), where White British are a minority, and the various ethnic groups are segregated across different portions of the city. Whites have mostly left the centre and live around the edges of the city, Hindus and Sikhs occupy one side of the inner city and Muslims another. Many city centres across the UK reflect this picture. It highlights the myth of melting pot, because there is none, it is self-imposed segregation, which is a natural human trait. Thus, it follows that ethnocentric nations closely reflect human nature, and multiculturalism is incongruous to nature.

    • @sunset2.00
      @sunset2.00 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Only religion with hard effort had a true melting pot and sometimes fail like cristian black churches...
Secular melting pot where their is no higher purpose then of course they will choose race favoring as purpose and segregate.
Although i am a muslim and knew that muslim and other people benifit from multiculturalism and it is not un-Islamic
But secular multiculturalism dont work that well in UK

Mass immigration has never been openly stated as a policy by any party, its not legitimate , and never has been. Its based on the lie that an aging population can only be saved by migration, yet the obvious first step is to increase and encourage the birth rate.

God, that woman sums up the problem with Europe's political class perfectly. Murray is telling her the people of Europe don't like all this immigration, and her response is that the political class needs to 'provide leadership', ie, the people don't know what's best, we do, they need to shut-up and accept what we tell them'.
That doesn't work. People won't just suddenly stop being concerned because you refuse to listen to those concerns. They'll go to someone-- anyone-- who does appear to listen.

If the Native European Population (those with Historical Ties to Europe) is reduced to the point of being a Minority on the Continent will the new Peoples of Europe respect the rules and cultures or will it be supplanted by another dominant culture which
would be against those who made the European identity itself?

Neil asks - what is wrong with immigration/how will it lead to the downfall of 'the West'...
(Talking purely about low quality/third world/Islamic immigration...)
    1) Cultural disparities - different attitudes towards women, different attitudes towards foundational Enlightenment values (Rotherham, Charlie Hebdo, etc.)
    2) ^ Extremism, ^ occidentalism, ^ terrorism
    3) Social division, ethnic enclaves, hostility towards institutions
    3) Lower iQ
    4) Disproportionate predilection towards crime
    5) Disproportionate use of public services
    6) Necessary expansion of state apparatus - surveillance, etc
    7) More likely to vote for more welfare and less freedom
Neil says - what about America...
    1) America is separated from the rest of the world by the Atlantic Ocean and an expensive flight. They also have strict VISA policies and a less generous welfare state. This puts huge selective pressures for hard working, well educated and wealthy immigration (the good kind.) They get the brightest and the best, we get whatever lands on the shore in Lesbos.

    • @legalvampire8136
      @legalvampire8136 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

And a lot of Americans are now concerned about what mass Third World immigration is doing to their country too.
Mass immigration worked in Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century USA (and Australia) because they had largely empty Continents to fill. That was because the Native peoples had been largely wiped out by European diseases and guns. That does not apply to modern Europe. Also, in the earlier period immigration to the USA and Australia was mostly from other Western countries whose cultures and values were relatively compatible, even if they had the occasional problem. It was not like pouring floods of Third World Muslims into Christian and secular First World countries.

Islam has such a grip on the UK now, so it's only a matter of time before OUR culture becomes THEIR culture. Mass unchecked immigration, coupled with enormous differential in birth rates between muslims and the indigenous population, dictates that muslims will eventually be in the majority, with obvious consequences. This will take some time, but it will, and must, happen.
Successive governments have accommodated the ongoing problem, foolishly, and seem oblivious to what is going on. I wonder what benefits they are enjoying from their actions/inactions.

Can someone from Western Europe (I'm form Poland), explain to me, why is it a foregone conclusion to these people that they "must" take in vast quantities of immigrants form Africa and Asia? They speak of it as if it was smth painfully obvious and unavoidable, like extinguishing a fire or putting ice-cream in the freezer.

      Because of welfare
UK is massive in Dept for feeding single moms n old people...
As Uk has low birth rate..
So you need young foreigners so that you can tax them and feed the blood to welfare nation...

@@sunset2.00 I see. But that is a short-term solution to a long-term problem. Those immigrants will get old too eventually. Many of them come flat-out to leech off of the welfare system. This is basically taking a 2nd credit to pay off the 1st one...

Ues but not for the politicians who can get power and win election by promising more and more to old people single women and the caring politicians who want to reduce Gov so to lessen the dept burden is clearly unpopular as majority are old n young moms.
Very few politicians play the long term game for a five year power.

People with similar racial and religious backgrounds choose to live together, which is why we have areas of cities with high numbers or exclusivity of particular groups. So why isn’t it ok for white, British people to also want to be with similar people who share, and wish to preserve, their own history, legal system, traditions and values? It isn’t racist to want to be with people like ourselves and to not want to see that disappearing. Otherwise all those other concentrations of other groups of people who want all that are racist!

Is it because that's what some politicians want and say. I see no need for it. To me just sounds like a policy if inclusion and a policy for the sake of making one
