2023 CFMOTO 300SS Initial Review

I get to try out and see for myself how good the CFMOTO 300SS actually is. as I put miles on this bike I'll be able to find out more about the personality and quality of the bike

the 450ss model is actually pretty great. only bike in the class that come with entry lvl brembos, inverted forks, proper led head/taillights, and most importantly, 270 crankshaft that almost makes it sound like an r7 if you put on a slip on while all other 400s sound like lawnmowers, and also a tft display, which some people may or may not like. also looks pretty sleek in my opinion, especially without the stickers.
they've been out for a while in asian countries, and the reliability is pretty much rock solid, only issue is you have to get parts from aftermarket sources. for the 450ss model at least. i don't know about the 300ss. the cfmoto warranty is said to be great as well. all in all it's definitely better than a ninja 400 and yamaha r3 for street use(ninja 400 is better for the track). and a great contender against the new ninja 500, especially since can be bought for cheaper although resale will be less.

Sounds like you are trying to get me to buy a 450ss lmaoo. Tbh they do look great though so kinda tempting even though not the most comfortable riding position for me

@@pitbikemike nahh if you already owned liter bikes and inline 4s its nothing crazy but i kinda wish you got it for ur brother instead of the 300 because its a pretty big step up, not in hp but in terms of features and quality. but a good deal is a good deal haha cant argue with the $$
a few months ago it was a no brainer for 400ccs but now its a bit more of a difficult choice with kawasaki offering ninja 500 SE with parts being more plentiful in the US though its like 1 grand more expensive. the only thing driving me towards the 450ss is that it sounds great for someone who will only own a 400-450cc for city purposes compared to kawasaki's 180 lawnmower sound. you can check out 450ss slip ons on youtube to compare. sound is a big part of cars and bikes to me so yeah lol
but yeah sportbikes not the most comfy stuff esp for newer riders compared to cruisers lol. kawasaki eliminator 500 looks especially great, but price tag hurts
