    It is like a slowed down country style tune. Phrases are similar to country but more soulful and melodic.👍

    4:46 is that not from a C to a C6 (or C/A), since the notes are ACE? Anyways, fabulous lesson, much appriated sir.

      Since the chord on which the lick happens is a G, I prefer to think of the chords going between G and Am. I am glad you enjoyed the lesson!

    Love your lessons! The form is slightly different I IV I V on the turnaround for example, but the licks can work for any soul song. Smooth playing!
