Thank you!
Fantastic lesson. Packed with so many movable links!
Thanks Andy. I very recently found your channel. You have great tutorial content and your channel and videos should be a lot more popular.
Beautiful playing my friend. Love your teaching method. You break it down and make it very clear to understand. Bravo. I’ll be back.
Great job! Fantastic player and teacher.
Isn't this what the late great Spanky Alford and DeAngelo played? Thanks for the break down.
Yes! Definitely my inspiration for the part. Good catch!
@@AndyDacoulis Excellent. Love it!
Really appreciate your videos 🙏🏾
Beautiful stuff there Andy👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks man!
Thanks Andy!
Really great lesson! Thanks!
Yeah that's an incredible lesson, and one of the nicest guitars that I've ever seen, and one of the most beautiful tones that I've heard on a video demonstration! 😄 Thank you! 🙏
thank you!
I'm so glad I ran across this channel I love this kind of playing I'm a new subscriber thank you so much for this lesson
Hi John - glad that you enjoy the content! Thank you
Just found this video went to your channel love that Sweet Soul Music I like your teaching style and your choices of lessons. We will be tuning in and am now a subscriber. And Andy, I love your D Angelico Guitar, it is beautiful it sounds great, but if it was mine, I might experiment with some filtertron pick ups 🙂.
Nice playing!
Just found you today so happy. I am a beginner subscribed
Welcome!
Awesome! So good thank u
Great thumb and intro;)
Great thank you !
Thx for sharing, Andy. Really like the intro. Don’t quite have the same speed as you ! Haha. Like the guitar as well. Contemplated an orange Gretsch similar to yours. Great vid tho. Thx !
I can't get past re-watching the 'soul jazz' example. LOL Going to take me a while.
nice chops
Hey Dearest thank you so much for the work. I wish you make for us a video of scale Run . Thank!!
Hello - which scale run are you referring to?
It is like a slowed down country style tune. Phrases are similar to country but more soulful and melodic.👍
And gospel
The only headache now is transposing this to the key I sing it in: G
I want yo play guitar please help me
Absolutely beautiful playing..!
Shades of the great Cornell Dupree.
I think I need to purchase one of your courses Andy-any recommendations for a non-jazz purist who loves jazz chord voicings..? 🙏
Hey Troy - for chords, I'd go with the Modern R&B Chord lesson pack on "What's Going On".
@@AndyDacoulis Thank you Andy.
Where is your guitar book so that I can learn more?🤓😊
Haha thank you. For now keep your eye out for these videos. I appreciate your comment and your support!

Thank you so much. I have been looking for months for a decent chord progression for this song I have been working on instead of the usual I Vi V.
Actually, your comment on my Gospel video inspired this video!
How very kind of you.
Jam on Brother 😎 👌🏽
Dude you rock! I haven't played in years and you got me wanting to play again!
Happy tp hear this
4:46 is that not from a C to a C6 (or C/A), since the notes are ACE? Anyways, fabulous lesson, much appriated sir.
Since the chord on which the lick happens is a G, I prefer to think of the chords going between G and Am. I am glad you enjoyed the lesson!
Love your lessons! The form is slightly different I IV I V on the turnaround for example, but the licks can work for any soul song. Smooth playing!
Nice playing. Big Ford fan here.
Smooth as a hot crossed bun before icing.
Love your playing !
Nice Guitar!
Fantastic stuff Andy.
THANK YOU
Intro on point
Thank you Andy, your work is excellent and you show things applicable to different styles in a very didactic way. Even if we never reach your natural prowess we can apply your teachings.
Thank you Guillermo! Very happy that you enjoy the video
Love the lesson . What model guitar is that? Thanks
Glad that you liked the lesson. The guitar is a D'Angelico Excel SS
