Here is how I approach layering R&B guitars on a slow-tempo groove track. Each rhythm guitar part fits with the others.

Got that Paul Jackson Jr thing DOWN! Sounding great, my man!!!
When people ask me why I never play with a Capo, my answer is because I know my chords,, voicings, and substitutions. ❤ Thank you for the lesson.
I always leave a capo on my dashboard so that I can park in the disabled spot.

I am a Big fan of Paul Jackson jr i like these kind of stuff. Thanks so much. 🙏
Great !! Thank you so much!!
This is one of the best videos I've watched this year
Beautiful stuff. I don't get a chance to play with people that have much experience. This is so invaluable.
Sir. Your jam is really changing my jam right now.
sooooo well done, gives me loads of ideas and thanks for the on screen tabs!!
I can't believe this is the first time i see this channel, the teaching is really well done!!!!
Great artist musician. Congratulations for your talent sir.
Exactly "my cup of tea" and especially the muted picked single notes with intermittent little triads or such, are what I hope to get to call also more of my fortés. Love, how you broke it down and also talked about giving the parts some thought prior to recording them, awesome! (and _soooooo tasty_ , wow!)
Glad to hear this! Check out Paul Jackson Jr. for inspiration on that style
@@AndyDacoulis , yes, he's been an inspiration and idol since my teen days and I've always been aspiring to his rhythmic feel, that was much more important to me on the guitar than churning out a great solo. That, and harmony, chord progressions etc. You cover all these areas here and do it with style, if I may say so, Sir!👌
Mighty fine lesson. Such a sofistcated, and tasteful player.
Wow I am really impressed, I just found your channel and what a bunch of incredible ideas you have in this only one video lesson! Congratulations, your music, performance and composition is awesome, I will follow your channel every time I have a free spot to enjoy learning music! Thanks a lot for sharing Andy!

Thanks!
Spot on lesson, as always! Thanks Andy!
Very tasty playing 👍
Can you give info about what gear you use? Your tones are lovely.
Thanks Samuel - I use the Line 6 Helix and record direct into Logic. The tones come from the Helix.
@@AndyDacoulis sounds like a very very clean setting, no gain at all?
@@saigonproducer I have Andy's Helix presets, they're great
Wow very beautiful would love to hear a solo of your style over this track
This is beautiful…
Love the palm muted stuff yours are tight;)
Thank you sir!
Would love to see your “rig rundown”. Pedal board, amp.
I use the Line 6 Helix for my tones. I record direct.
Very nice
Awesome ❤
That channel have my subs
Dankeschön !!!
Whats your guitar setup? it sounds so nice smooth and clean.
Thanks - I use the Line 6 Helix for my videos. I record direct.
Sounds amazing! How do you get that sweet tone?
Thanks Freddy - I use the Line 6 Helix for my guitar videos.
Such wonderful work. Can you please tell me me which recording software you’re using and if it’s available to used on my windows pc
Thanks, Sam. I use Apple Logic but you can use any recording software. I have seen a lot of people using CUBASE on Windows. You might want to look at that
what's the chord at 7:04 (E - A#- D#- F#)? is it just an inversion of the F#13 chord?
Great question - yes, it's exactly that: F#13 played on the middle strings. If you play those exact notes on the top 4 strings, the shape will be more apparent.
Great stuff, Andy- Thank you! But please use less tremolo on those chords - OK?
haha yes
Sarap❤🙏
Super tasty!
