Hi Mohammed , Thank you, I always try and look at the physical differences and interchangeably with the earlier models as much as I can, basically to give people an idea of what's changed in reality rather than the manufacturers burb.
I've been using the new gun for the last few days, too early to say if it lays material better than the original, but it is reminding me of how much I like these guns. Cheers mate 👍

Does it spray after the swap?
Hi buddy, It's possible to do the same with the 4500 caps as well, I've never had a 4500, but a few people have told me you can just swap the centres.
I haven't swapped then over to use the yet, but it will work. Everything is the same apart from the threads, and a few people have asked, so I will try it next week 😉

@lukeowens3544 Only a pattern test, which was fine, but I swapped back as I'm testing the new gun and cap first

Hello Sir, have the new one on order, wait on it now. Figured I would get the one that is a fraction lighter. Yes Sir, I ordered the 1.35 with the clear pro cap. I believe you said that is equivalent to the titanium pro, which I was looking at before. The tip size is based on your recommendation, gonna give it a go.

Hi mate, the 4600 has always been one of my favorites, so I'm sure the new one will be as good and hopefully better, just be aware, if it's your first gun, these are quite fast so be prepared for that, thanks buddy 👍
Woukd you suggest me getting one of them cheap NTools to start off with? I want to get some practice, and I don't want a gun that is going to hamper my progression.

@peteshobbies5383 Hi Pete, I am looking to spray cars and bikes mainly, yes, full cars and panels on scooters and bikes. Only for recreational. I have watched your videos about Ntools, so i was thinking maybe the NTools T20? Have you had any experience with that gun? I know you said in a video that there are all basically the same, but sell under different names, brands, and models. I have a 12.9 cfm 150 litre compressor. Thank you for your help it's much appreciated.

Hi Pete, you kept this one quiet mate I had no idea you were getting these guns😆they do look nice guns so it's nice to know what the difference is and it turns out there is not a lot going on apart from the cap, this seems to be a theme these days where gun manufactures come out with these "game changing new guns"🙄the WS400 and LS400 Series 2 come to mind here as well🤦♂
I've seen a few reviews on these new guns and everyone seems to like them but not many of them are committing to saying they are better so I'll be looking forward to seeing what you think mate as we can always trust what you say to be how it is👌from what you are saying about the caps is if you have a 4600 Extreme all you need is an aircap to make it the new version🤔🧐cheers Pete👍
Hi John, it certainly looks that way. I literally only got it delivered yesterday from Sprayguns Direct who are stocking a good range now, was a bit difficult to buy Sagola a wile ago after they were taken over but better now.
The new version is lighter, only by 23g or so, but you can notice it in the hand, I'll have a play with it and compare it to the Titania Pro version, which is the equivalent to the Clear Pro cap which I have.
I didn't go for the digital version as the air adjuster is long and cumbersome. You can remove it, but I prefer the standard on most guns, really.

I recon that most diehard fans of the 4600 will have to buy the complete new gun rather than just the aircap as they will want the complete package just to experience having a new gun in their collection, I would be doing the same if it was me🙄😆
As you know I like to have the digital version of each gun but I can see what you are saying about the air adjuster on the digital version, I wonder why they couldn't just use the same adjuster as the non digital like the other manufactures do🤔🤷♂
I'm not to bad thanks mate, been having problems (again) getting my meds so I've been climbing the walls with withdrawals and pain but it's getting sorted👌my new sander didn't arrive today, it's one of those dual action so it's a rotary or an orbital along with dust extraction (expensive thing it was to), I was looking for a rotary with dust extraction but couldn't find one anywhere🤔hope it will be here tomorrow🤞

I recently got the Mirka Deos, which I think you have already. Don't use it much, but it's handy for flatter panels
Sent you a message over at my place mate, I love my Deros but for removing paint (stripping panels) it's not that quick plus it's not liking that kind of treatment, have a look see what you think mate, I don't use my Deos so much these days either👍

Hi Danny, I would recommend the 1.2xl unless you like a fast gun. It also depends on what cap you are using it with
Thanks Pete, I bought a 1.3xl clear pro from spraygunsdirect and it shipped to the US pretty quickly. So far I’m happy with the results I’ve gotten. Im wondering how the base cap lays down metallics.
Hi Eric, That's exactly what I bought, the 1.3XL Clear Pro, I have different setups on my 4600 Xtremes, so I can experiment a little.
I will eventually get the Base & Clear caps but they are expensive so not straight away.
It's good Sprayguns Direct are stocking Sagola, we went through a period when Elcometer first bought Sagola, 3 or so years ago when they were just selling direct and not selling through dealers, this made it difficult to get them which seemed a stupid idea, that has now changed , although Elcometer bumped the prices up which was a shame but at least they are easy to get if people want them.
@@peteshobbies5383 if you decide to post your experimenting I will definitely tune in. It’s definitely good that spraygunsdirect is stocking them now. At the time (about two weeks before official release), I found spraygunsdirect the only place to order a Sagola 4600.
I just sprayed the base cap today with a very unique color code from Kia "ERG" Everlasting Silver Metallic. It worked great!
I'm sure I will be doing some experiments, Eric, it seems like the obvious thing to do, if the new caps are better than the old then just buying a new cap for the original 4600 and swapping out the center would be a great idea, we shall see, cheers mate 👍
J-TSPRAYAUTO, I will get a Base cap and try it up against the original Aqua cap , see what the differences are, the Aqua cap is excellent so hopefully, the new one will be as well, thanks buddy 👍

@Rikats15 Not a lot would be the answer. Most costs will be development, , which I guess shouldn't be underestimated
I may try a newer air cap on the 4600. You can use the 4500 air caps the same way on the 4600. Just like the center of the satas can be changed.
Hi Glen, I've not used a 4500, but it's useful to know that the centers fit the 4600 as the caps come up on eBay sometimes.
The new cap has a chamfer on it, rather like the new ANI Compact caps have so maybe that makes a difference, if so then a new cap for the old gun would be good, thanks buddy, much appreciated 👍
That's interesting but at the same time kind of fleecing. With Sagola being a reputable brand, why not just offer a different cap and same thread as an add-on to the Xtreme?
Hi Mate, that's what half of me is thinking. The other half is thinking at least they revised it without making everything different.
I think these manufacturers are under pressure to keep putting out new products, so it's better for them to class it as "New" rather than just make add ons for the old gun.
You can notice the weight difference, it's only small but noticeable, I haven't used it yet but if there's a difference between the new and the old performance wise I'll swap the cap center's and see what I get.
@peteshobbies5383 That is a good point. Perhaps it is just me wishing more brands would offer packages similar to the Pro Lite, Skull, etc where multiple caps are included rather than push for multiple guns. In my head, that would be more competitive at a slightly lesser cost and bring the big companies back to earth so-to-speak.
I know in the US the Tekna Pro Lite is offered with a few caps and tips, never been the case in the UK, 2 tips, yes, but not caps.
The ANI Skull was the first and only gun I've bought that came with different caps as standard, and, as you say, it would be great if more manufacturers did the same as it really makes a great package and economical to experiment with the different caps, cheers Boss 👍

Hi Mate, I think if I had to choose build quality wise, I would go with the Sagola, the fact that it has no seals on the tip probably swings it in the Sagolas favor, both Sata and Sagola are very good build quality 😀, cheers buddy 👍
