    I was doing Jiu-Jitsu for almost 4 years but had to give it up because of hip pain, doctor said I needed my hip replaced, it gave me a lot of trouble!! My wife is a Yoga instructor, I started doing yoga about 6 months ago religiously 5 times a week, no more trouble with my hip and I feel like I'm 40 again, started back to Jiu-Jitsu a couple of months ago, yoga has changed my life!!! Love your videos Flow!!!

      I usually don’t get it when doctors always rush for the most expensive , complicated and risky alternatives.

      @@georgeikinya2779 I am SO glad I didn't get it!! It's all about money for them, and most people take the easy way!!!

      You feel like you are 40 again. Dude I fucking love this spirit. Sometimes I am worried about 30s approaching lol.

      @@wolvenedvard3049 I wish I was 30 again!!! Lol, I will be 64 in Nov and never felt better, my flexibility and strength has increased so much!!! My wife is a Yoga instructor and ultra long distance runner just turned 49 last week, two weeks ago she took her first Jiu-Jitsu class, she absolutely loves it!!! I think she is going to be really good, she also did gymnastics for 15 years, I think she is going to be a handful!! Lol 😂

    Dumb question, but I'm the most inflexible person on earth. I've been this way ever since a little child. Where do I start I ask everyone and they say "oh, you just need to stretch" but the problem is I cannot even touch my toes.. Any recommendations on where to begin for a total beginner like myself and also people say "if you stretch you'll get better" but I'm so out of touch with stretching and inflexible that I have no hope and I strongly believe I'll be stuck like this until the end of days.. Any input would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

    • @mullena98
      @mullena98 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think maybe something that might help is to do what you can, over time you’ll gain more flexibility. But it’s not uncommon to not be able to touch your feet! Maybe you have higher expectations that are reasonable! Do what feels good and push yourself slightly beyond when you can and I think it’ll start to flow from there. I’m not in any way a professional but I can speak somewhat from my own personal experiences. Hope this helped 😅

    YES YES. More of this please. I really enjoy the integration of Animal Flow movement into the vinyasa flow. Would love to see extended version of this on Patreon.
    May I humbly suggest, landing the Scorpion reach and then roll into a consecutive scorpion reach, then side kick thru, Crab, Crab reach, etc etc. I think a flow like that can really activate the body off the mat.
    Looking fwd to what you create in the future

    Hi!! It's been a long time since my first class with you. I'm so happy to have the possibility to follow the practice. Thanks again for all the superb work you keep doing for us all. I would ask something I noticed for a while. In three legged dog and warrior three, top of the feet are extended while in the past we used to see hammer feet, with tips towards the ground. Is there a particular reason to this ? Maybe you explained this somewhere, and I missed the video. 🙏

  • @bobo_der_affenkind8328
    @bobo_der_affenkind8328 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    To be honest, the first time I followed along, I was confused and not that happy with the more exercise/workout style at the beginning, but now I love it!!!
    In karate there is nearly no ground fighting and this helps a lot to get a little familiar with this kind of movements. As always: thanks a lot! 🥋🤗

      Re: Ne waza in karate.
      I guess it depends on where you train I guess - I study Okinawan Goju Ryu karate in the UK, and we do quite a fair amount of Ne waza.
      Of course, we're not specialists in ground fighting like JJJ/BJJ, but there's an ever present ground fighting element.

Thank you 🙏🏼 and I envy the BJJ group which take your live classes. P.S. it would be great to have similar classes ending with self massage with a ball.
