This is surreal. Can't believe any of the original members are still around after 50+ years .. I remember viewing their "reunion" concert in Springfield 17 years earlier and I thought it seemed like they might be on their last legs back then, sadly. What sparked this renewal of spirit???
It's great this video exists to be able to see and hear them. Some people below don't get it and that's why they are only commenters. Musicians never retire because it is IN them. Keep playing!
I loved them from the first album but did not get to see them in concert until 1999. I am happy they are still around and playing my favorite song of theirs, "Standing on the Rock."
I don't understand why Dillon (along w. Supe) has seem to come to the forefront as the representative of the band in these last few years. Always thought Randle (Chowning) fulfilled that role. Now it seems almost like he's passed or something (although that's not the case). ?
@@SmithsonianFolklife I guess so, although I don't see how they can understand the "rhythm" of a song when they can't hear it. The analogy it would seem to me would be like a blind (from birth) person visiting at an art museum. How do you describe a painting to him/her, when they have no idea of the various colors, shades, etc.?
@@attygarland6909 You can feel the rhythm of your heartbeat without hearing it, right? Rhythm is not just auditory. Here is an interesting video about the possibilities in ASL interpretation of music: th-cam.com/video/EuD2iNVMS_4/w-d-xo.html
I have to agree with you, glad I saw them in 1982. We almost went to see them last Summer at an intimate outdoor setting near Bayfield, Upper Michigan. The area is beautiful for hiking, etc, right on Lake Superior but our schedule didn't allow it. Instead we saw Greensky Bluegrass in Interlochen , Mi then 5 days later at Summerfest in Milwaukee, closer to our house. They were awesome!
I live in Baldim - Minas Gerais-Brasil
wonderfull Ozark. I love "You made it right" fifteen years.
No way they should they retire. They're still jamming. Keep on rocking boys 🤘

In fact, I see now he's not even in the band lineup here. wth??? It ain't the O.M.D. w/o him. ☹
I would love to go on tour
👍👍🌹
Why is there a deaf interpreter for a MUSIC CONCERT? 🤪
The lyrics, rhythm, and emotion of a song can all be interpreted for a Deaf audience! Music isn't only for a hearing audience.

Where is Larry?
He hasn't been a member of OMD for many years and last I checked only two of the original members are even still in the band.
@@elijahwilson1422 That's two more original members that are in the current version of Lynyrd Skynyrd!
Larry Lee died in 2007
sorry to hear @@elijahwilson1422
