One of favorite channels now, it's like hanging out with an Italian family before, during and after dinner. It's wholesome but also real and we get to see how Girl with the Dogs got her spiciness.
I'm not Italian, but I love the tradition & authenticity of these parents/grands. They are the ppl to learn from & they exist in every ppl group. Wisdom, common sense & discernment creates a foundation to live by if we listen & receive. ✌🧡🙏
Im not Italian, i love watching them , we have basically the same traditions, im Portuguese we also do gardens etc , my parents imagrated to Canada when we were children , 49 yrs later Canada has been good to us , big virtual hug for everyone ❤
When I was young I used to beg my grandmother to make these. If by some miracle there were any left, the next day we would make sandwiches with them using roasted peppers. I miss my grandmother now.
Veal Milanese! Very common Italian dish. And yes, many Italians immigrated to Canada, South America (Chile, Argentina, Venezuela) and of course the US, especially NY (where my parents ended up because other family members went there before them). My father had a beautiful vegetable garden every summer too. And delicious fig trees (he brought the saplings from Sicily). He too would cover them up in the winter to prevent them from dying. 3 years ago was the last time we visited his hometown, Bronte, which is just outside of Catania. We brought home bags of olives from my uncle’s farm, pistachios (some of the best in the world!), and also a couple of artichoke saplings. We planted them in my yard. I live on Orange County, CA, so very similar climate to Sicily, and those plants thrive! I only wish I was able to bring fig saplings. Your Nonno is a wonderful artist!
Yes, in Argentina we call it MILANESA, they are so delicious. I live in Arizona now but when I was raising my children in California I used to cook milanesa for them and they continue with the tradition with their children.
As always, the food looks amazing, and the process is so much fun to watch. To see your Nonno's art, though - what a treat! It's incredible! And the family pictures were wonderful, too. One of the best channels on TH-cam, along with Girl with the Dogs - a treasure. Thank you!
That veal and those veggies look delicious. And I think your Nonno's art would grace any of the finest museums. Such lovely memories in their stories and photos, too.
Nonno absolutely deserves to take more pride in his work! Absolutely amazing!! Hopefully all the love from us strangers will help convince him he IS an artist❤
Thank you so much for sharing your family with us. The videos are awesome! I love you guys!! I am a German woman who loves Italian food. Nonna, you should publish a cookbook with all of your favorite recipes, I would gladly buy one! Your family is a gift to this world, God Bless You always!
I watch your channel because seeing your Nonno ( the work clothes, the tarp vent, the gesture for the spoon) are all things that spark memories of my own Dad that i might not think of on any other day. Thank you for sharing your family❤
Thank you for sharing your grandparents with us. My papa immigrated from Ireland to the US just after the great depression and I miss hearing his brouge when he would tell me stories as a little girl. Edited to fix spelling
I just love having family time with you guys. I have no family. No brothers or sisters. The others have passed but you guys make me feel like family. ❤
My grandparents came a similar way. My great uncle sponsored my grandfather to come from Germany. Then my grandfather sponsored my grandmother. Both came through Ellis Island prior to the rise of Hitler after WWI. Loving this channel. Don’t care for veal but those veggies look amazing!
Oh my gosh that's her? I thought I recognized the voice and had no idea why. I know this is a year later, but thank you for the comment otherwise it would have driven me crazy. I follow her channel as well.
Beautiful Rustic Hot Roasted Salad and garlic. Love Nonno’s stirring motion, no words spoken and instantly a Spoon appears..... my dad used to to that. Niagara Falls, Fruit land ...so beautiful, minus the tourists of course. I didn’t know you could grow figs in Canada, interesting. Yes Nonno is very talented artist, ...and not bad in the Garden department either.
Thank you for sharing this with me!!! I LOVE it!!!!! Both are them are just so talented, hard working and honest!!!!! God bless you all.... please pray for my family to reunite....I Miss my kids and cooking for them!!! ❤️🙏✝️
I enjoy your videos, they bring back memories of my Mother and Father. My Mother and I came from Supino, Frosinone in 1954. My Father came in 1951 and started working.

My great grandma was from Sicily and she made these stuffed artichokes that were so good! Did your family ever make that? I'm unsure if it is made all over Italy or just mainly in Sicily.
Wow, you made milanesas in the same way we do in Argentina!!! You are lucky you choose Canada , my granpa choose Argentina and 2 generations later we choose Canada!!! How similar the stories of the Italian immigrants!!!

Le cotolette!😋😋
Crumbed veals is a once a week thing for a lot of Italian migrants to Australia. In fact I had it a couple of days ago.
Beautiful veal!!!!
... DON'T EVER think that this is Not important ... (It's LIFE) ...
I love these people ❤❤❤...Italians are made of Amore❤❤❤ I would recommend using Polish or Greek salt...Sifto brand not the best! Just saying 😮
this is man that makes sculptures of people so realistic. Nonno made Tu Pac.If you put one of Nonnos sculptures in a haunted house...
He is a genius
It’s called Wiener Schnitzel (Vienna Schnitzel) and is originally from Austria
They are Milanese veal fettine. And are from Italy.
I wish this man raised me. Lucky children
Nonno is precious.
I wonder , what do you guys think of Trudeau 🤔🤔 from Michigan ✋
Fun Fact: Tomatoes are fruit. Because of the seeds.
Do you have relatives here in Australia?
And if using a cheaper meat like round steak, after frying put in oven on low to make tender…
He says "Canadas been good to me," but I think this he would've succeeded in Haiti or the Congo. He's been good to Canada.
…in Germany we call them “Schnitzel”…💚
Hold up ... Ya"ll live in Canada!? That's so wild!! Is there an Italian community in Canada?
This is an amazing channel! But, what does "sponsored" mean? Your great grand father had to "vouch" to get more family in?!
