Hello IDYLBERRY, The materials have been designed for these purposes, for example expanded polystyrene (EPS) which is a rigid and tough, closed-cell foam. There is over 50 years of experience about pontoons in harsh harbor conditions. For the space under the flotation, we don't consider it as wasted space. Hello Hugo MT, it is possible to put tanks and small spaces under the floor areas, but we have a principle to build unsinkable housing projects so we rather not build anything extra under the floor. About 2:55: Everything has been divided into specific groups according to power consumption and purpose of use. Real nice but now where the hell can I park it...I can't even park an RV on 90 percent of the properties because of HOA...the fucks would rather let a small piece of land sit there barren than let someone with a 35k$ 2015 rv own it and potentially build on it in the future...I would imagine this is only for the extreme wealthy.... Wondering how long before the salt water eats away the rebar that seems to be holding the foam flotation pieces together
Are you sure it’s salt water. In any case the rebar is within the concrete, which itself is waterproofed.

I would think never. This is not a cruising vessel, so undergrowth will not bother it any.
What are you going to do when water gets inside of the flotation? Plus that is just wasted space below the water.

In tribute to the tragedy in #Texas with #HurricaneHarvey, and I am hopeful that homes like this may be an option for the future.
