I used to read the AOPA magazine for years. When I realized the piles of magazines were consuming a significant amount of space and decided to dispose them, I removed the page of Barry's column from each of the magazines to keep them for later reading, because it was always great fun to read (surely Rod Machado did a great job as well). I didn't know that Barry made those fabulous videos too - thanks for sharing & greetings from a J3c pilot from Switzerland!
The LARGEST control on the airplane, that creates low speed YAWing for directional control. (Xwind follow thru) is 1930's technique before Cessna invented the LAND-O -MATIC. Sadly not taught any longer. 2 to 4 times the surface area of the wee stalling rudder, aileron YAW makes the day, but used like driving a car will accelerate planes demise. Thank you Brian! Barry is a crown jewel to old pilots like me. He is now inspiring the next generation as well!

Inexpensive haha. That was hilarious
