Hi, Lucy! For second conditional, when using the verb “to be,” the correct way is to always use “were.” It’s not optional to use “was,” grammatically speaking, even though many actors speak this way on TV. I’m American, but this rule applies to all Englishes. I only bring this up because I have to give Cambridge online exams which only give multiple choice options, and “was” is not a correct option. Ex: “If I WERE taller, I’d wear high heels.” Love your videos!

This particular sentence in the video looks like mixed conditional to me.
You're right! "You wouldn't be tired if you had gone to bed earlier" is a mixed conditional, which describes a past action with a present result.

If you use "won't" , you will use the negative future form .
