Mental to see some S2000's like that especially in Ireland. The video and editing was unreal in this video. As always love the videos and look forward to the upload. Can't wait to see how the 86 is coming along. Unfortunately can't make it to LZ fest and meet you lads in person and get some stickers, will hopefully get the opportunity in the future. Keep up the great work it doesn't go unnoticed
it makes me so happy how other places in the world appreciate different cars, i worked with a kid that has and s2000 and its crazy to hear the love the car gets in this video, amazing cars, truly
Just bought myself an S2000 and I’m from Ireland too! Will be looking to get some rare parts for it as well over the coming years and hopefully make it into something special.
The S2000 will always be extra special to me. It’s the car I learned to drive stick in as a 17 year old training as a Honda technician. One of the experienced techs took me along for a test drive after performing some repairs on the car, and on the way back asked me if I wanted to learn to drive stick. No way was 17 year old me gonna turn that down in one of the coolest cars on sale at the time. He made sure that I didn’t burn the clutch in that customer’s car 😂
usually i always agree with your opinions but s2000s havent been rare at all in ireland, I remember looking to buy one pretty much every year and theres always plenty available to buy. The prices were way below north america too, 4 years ago I saw a couple for sale 8-10k while in america they went for 20k+.
I totally relate to Quentin building his S2K on his own with no help from friends, family etc. I'm the only one in my family who's interested in Japanese cars, and none of my friends are interested in them either. One of them likes classic Euro stuff but that's about it.
@@juiceboxforyou I'd be the same, no mates interested in cars. Too busy with their phones and fuel economy lol the passion lives on regardless. Working on cars even by yourself is great for the mental health because you can stand back and appreciate what you've built.
I live in arklow, always a pleasure to see seans s2k and his jzx out side the distro, strangely enough ive only ever seen the silver one in town once a long time ago, still a lovely car to see though
As an american named john who has a friend named quintin who both have the same rare (in the US,s13 coupe) japanese inspired car. I can really relate to this video
@@juiceboxforyou - exactly - this is what I love about the 'true' car scene - everyone appreciating the different routes that some have chosen from others, rather than clone after clone and WAY too much hate.... top job all round!! :)
These go for $60-80k easily in Canada now. Crazy to think that I could have went to a Honda dealer in 2007 and purchased one of their '04 or '05 S2000's that had been sitting unsold in the showroom for half that price, driven it for 14 years, and sell it for $20k more than I purchased it.
The s2000 was expensive when new and it was during the convertible = mid-life crisis era so only appealed to older guys. Then unlike other cars, like you said, there was no poverty spec to harvest parts off so repairs were expensive. Lastly, because it was so highly tuned from the factory, there was no cheap power adder. High initial buy price, expensive repairs, expensive mods. The holy trinity of obscurity.
Funnily enough, at least in Australia, you could say the same for the S15 Silvia. Insurance on a turbo car if you're under 25 is almost impossible. Nobody was willing to shell out almost $40,000 for a car they couldn't insure. If it wasn't for the early 2000s grey import boom the S15 would be very rare as well.
You'd actually be surprised on the savaging parts front, their still a honda at the end of the day and these cars despite first appearances are parts bin specials with he exception of the engine, even the boxes share parts with silvias, rx8 & mx5's
I’m debating on buying one soon, saving for a decent down payment it’s crazy how high they have shot up. Before too long they will be untouchable by the common folk.
@@juiceboxforyou yup, 15-20k before the pandemic and now your lucky if you can find a decent adult owned version for less than 28k. I appreciate the videos hope all is well for you guys.
idk how s2k prices there are, but here in the US they've skyrocketed 10 years people in highschool could afford a decent one, but now they're collector cars im gonna settle for a k swap zzw30 or nb miata
Shame about the electric steering. Might as well buy a Supra then with numb BMW EPS, instead of paying a fortune people ask now for an ancient high milage S2000.
Got me wanting an S2k now haha. We do have a lot in america but tbh its just like you said ab Ireland, they’re mostly driven by old dudes and kept stock. Have seen some neat modded ones tho ever now and then. Thanks for bringing us a feature on some more cool shit Neil!
Sean's got all the toys
He does indeed! It’s impressive
something about Advans that's just special. Both cars look like they have had so much time put in. love em
The Advan RG3 are such a good looking wheel!
Have just refurbed one myself here not quiet as modified but glad to see a passion for one of the best affordable sports cars ever made.

Always appreciated, S2ks like this are few and far between here ❤️🍻
The Honda S2000 ROCKS

I'm still drooling! Awesome.
Yeah Juicy s2000 gang! Keep on pushing!!!

More late night content, I'm living for it 🖤
Running late as usual 😅
Fantastic cars Great to see them built so different but with top quality finish, so cool to hear they are in regular use too
Both beautiful!
HolyGod!! Two beautiful cars!!
Shame that we don't have a lot more S2000's in Ireland but like you said yourself, these 2 examples are absolute perfection.
Certainly an under-appreciated chassis here, glad these two exist
Shed queens now, or the owners are fighting rust, one of my favourite cars ever the S2000,
These cars are so beautiful
Cinematography and music on point… as always
Always appreciated ❤️
Now I want a s2000 for myself! 2 beautiful machines!.
Same!
I've always Loved Honda s2000 I remember when they where brand new on top gear, they just never really got cheap .
Yeah that’s very true! They came down for a little bit, think Sean got his for a very good price. But everything is back up again
Beautiful cars.
Honda perfection
Saw Sean’s car at Mondello. Cool car
That grey one is an absolute treasure chest of mad parts
Proper dream spec!
Both lovely cars 👏
Wow 2 beautiful s2000's fairplay to both lads
Two epic examples for sure
Nice. Was never a fan of the S2000 but all I can say is nice. Still made for dwarfs but everyone gets one.

Haha that’s an epic story! Not a bad first car to learn in

I was waiting for juice box all day...
A bit late this time but we made it
Perfection 🖤
I brought my buddie to buy 1 yesterday. Thing is class.

So good to see some well modded S2000's on these shores.
Absolutely ❤️

Wow! My dream car 😍! Thanks Sean 🤣
S2k all tha way

Glad I was up tiddling myself
😂😂

Yeah agreed! Always a nice treat to see these out and about
Love the vid and the S2000s, but we defo need some vtec noises next time!
Savage video as always Neil 💪👌
Always appreciated Cathal

Very cool - It's amazing how much difference subtle changes can make... :)

Can't wait to watch this in work tomorrow 👀
Hope it was worth the wait 🍻
Can’t beat a good Honda 💪🇯🇵some intention to detail on that gray s2000
Absolutely you can tell it’s been carefully built over time
Can genuinely appreciate seen something like those 2 s2000s especially on our Irish roads fabulous cars 💯 well done to the owners 🏆
Crazy how these never sold well in Ireland or the UK!! Very nice examples!!
Considering how popular they were elsewhere, maybe it’s the bad weather 😂
Wow two absolutely stunning s2000’s, you irish lads really do get treated to some special cars
For sure man! Very lucky to have such an array of stuff to enjoy
Thank you lads
🍻🍻
Love the big Wing. 😎😎😎
It’s a nice touch! Gives these things are more sporty look

I missed the boat with these
You doing on the Ae86 cam
We need to hear the second car please
Im considering Buying a S2000 next or or maybe a Mustang GT or monte carlo Havent decided yet
Serious cars
Hey! Leave my 1.4 Civic alone! >:(
I’m not a s2k fan but the hardtop looks 100% better than the drop top. People definitely have a peculiar taste in cars.
I’d agree! Sean finally got a hardtop for his, they are hard enough to find for sale these days and not cheap either
Whats the steering wheel in the white car called?
I wonder are they the same town ??
That opening shot went straight into hardcore pornography.
Have you any more videos off the Ae86 cam coming up soon
Lots more on the 86 coming soon

Turned down one of these for 10k Aussies dollars right before covid happened. I can't even find a decent one with low ks for less than 50k now
It’s insane how quickly things changed
Always swore I’d own one of these one day, looking at the prices now I’ve got more chance of platting piss..😂 Fair play to the lads though. 👍🏻
It’s crazy I remember seeing s2kz with low miles for 12grand now there 25k with shit tons of miles !
i said that about the BMW's clown shoe car... i want it so fucking bad, will never be able to afford one hah.
Hahaha yeah sadly like everything else! Prices have gotten out of hand
I’m debating on buying one soon, saving for a decent down payment it’s crazy how high they have shot up. Before too long they will be untouchable by the common folk.
Yeah Sean got in right before the prices went nuts

Is that a 1c6 is200/tezza in the background at 3.08
Looks like Neil's Prius more so haha
That would the delightful 202 black shit box daily Prius
For me I’d take the white one because whites right 😁
Last time I came across a big e I was mangled for several hours in the 90s🤣
Man love the content but I’d imagine if you put it up at 7 instead of 11 it would get way more viewers and not get lost down the que.
Too soon Junior
Time has been against me lately, hopefully aiming to have a more solid scheduled in the future 🤝
MUPPP
muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
i want one of these as a first car but with irish law I won't get insurance5
idk how s2k prices there are, but here in the US they've skyrocketed

Glad you enjoyed it, these are such an underrated chassis outside of Japan
