Great dashcam. I set mine up for the maximum of 3 minutes. I wish it would record continuously. Someone cut onto the main road and almost T boned me. I checked my dashcam and as fate would have it. 3 minutes lapsed and restarted just as he cut me off. It only showed him parked and ready to pull into traffic!
I just bought this 422gw cam and tested it driving down dark lane behind girlfriends car it wouldnt even show number plate with lights on 2 foot behind car number plate lol was blur... also tried it earlier in day when it was raining just starting to get dark it wouldn't pick van number plate up in front of me either when I'm right behind van so for price I'm very disappointed I think some of you people doing these reviews about this 422gw cam must be getting paid by nextbase.. even in day time this 422gw footage isn't great it still struggles to see some number plates .. My Girlfriend as just ordered the 622 gw after seeing this one. let's hope that one is worth money and hopefully can see number plate at night in lane when right behind car.. Also this 422 gw isn't worth charging for 2 hours it goes flat near straight away not worth wasting electric to charge easier to just connect 12 volt in car all time we'll disappointed
One of the main requirements of a dashcam is the ability to read number plates. This review is totally pointless without that information. Who's bright idea was it to obscure one of the most important pieces of information from a dashcam review?
This charger is killing that product. It should has USB type A plug that would allow usage of other chargers, for example the ones that have 2x USB ports on them. It also has Li-Ion battery that will day after a few years like in my current dash cam. Why not super capacitor? For this price it should be much better.
