Love the way you explain things, Dr. Liu! I used to double cleanse in the traditional way. I don’t wear makeup though, just sunscreen, and when I found cleansers (like the Avene cleansing oil or the Senté soothing cleanser) that took everything off in one go it was such a relief. I have a chronic illness and the traditional double cleanse was quite laborious for me- made my PM routine way too onerous when I’m already super tired
@@dr.jennyliu on a semi-related note, Dr. Liu, would you please please please do a video on how to apply sunscreen to the neck and ears without ruining your clothes and making your hair greasy?
I subscribed and love your channel. You go into detail which is important to get it right what you suggest the first time. Keep making them and we'll keep watching them. Thank you
So is it okay to just use micellar water to remove makeup then wash? Cause I feel like it's not enough but I have oily skin and don't want to do too much
What are all the cons of using makeup remover wipes/towelettes? Do they leave microscopic tears that can lead to premature aging? And do you recommend any brand?
Thanks Dr. Liu for sharing! In your opinion, which type of cleanser is the most hydrating to the face skin? (In case the skin is a little bit on the dry side). Thanks ☺️
I came looking for a new makeup cleanser. The one I used to use by Neutrogena is no longer available. So I bought the Sakkisei recommended in this video. It does NOT remove waterproof mascara for me at all.
Can you review some eco-friendly skincare/haircare lines? The one I'm particularly interested in is Hibar, which is an American zero-waste company that makes solid shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and face wash bars. I'm super keen to find something that is evidence-based but also less damaging to the environment.
Some folks can tolerate fragrance in a wash off product better than a leave on product. However, certain formulations may still be problematic for some folks. This is why I request FREE cleanser samples from Sephora to avoid buying something that burns me.
The moment I discovered you, I immediately subscribed to you because I absolutely love this channel!!!

I have sensitive skin and apply sunscreen a lot. Is there an alternative to double cleansing?
You can always use your cleanser twice

I'm asking humbly why are some of the products you recommend have fragrance? Thx.
