I suggest reading Grant Morrisons Batman when Pyg is first introduced he's always been one of my favorite villains when I was introduced to him and I'm glad RockSteady added him into the game
Looking back this was a poorly structured boss fight, but I think it worked the same way as the Red Hood boss fight. That fight was poorly done too, but you didn't care. You were reeling from finding out who the Arkham Knight was, you were emotional and distracted and you weren't thinking about the fight at all. The setting of this fight is so deeply disturbing that the fight itself doesn't matter, because you're focused on how freakish and disturbing it all is.
This was done better than the Jason fight though. There should have been more to that than just him trying to snipe you and grappling under where he was standing.
Lord Vader I was thinking it was more like the crazy guy from Outlast: Whistleblower who went around castrating men and trying to turn them into the "perfect wife". Sorry to disagree there, but-AGKH.....N-NO....!......LORD VADER.....ACK.....(chokes to death)
It's a shame that underrated Batman villians like Film Fan, Baby Doll, the Clock King and Ragdoll went without an Arkham-series treatment. I think they all have alot potential. Especially Baby Doll. Imagining her with the figure and behavior of a 5 year old girl with goldilocks, but the skin of a grandma, humming some children sond and drawing a picture about throwing a nuke at Gotham really gives me the creeps.
***** First: Baby Doll is mentally an adult. She suffered from Hypoplesia which made only her body stop aging at five. Second: I don't know what's more despicable. Hating on children or that you honestly wrote the sentence quote: "Fuck little girls". Third: Troll.
0ZERO5 Oh yeah, I forgot about the Ventriloquist. He's an interesting character. Although I think it would be hard to make an exciting boss battle with him. He's a random guy wearing a puppet wearing a gun. But maybe something inside an abandoned toy factory with giant sized Scarfaces or... you know... something like that.
Professor Pyg reminds me of Eddie Gluskin from Outlast: Whistleblower. If this were an all-out horror game where you're character is defenseless, Pyg would be a really good antagonist. It would also be cool if you were being chased by the dollotrons during the story
When I first read Pyg's comics I am unashamed to admit it gave me nightmares. I was like 17 or 18 when it came out and it disturbed me that deeply. I'm a long time horror nut and playing this game, seeing him actually gave me goosebumps. He became one of my favorite one off villains for that very reason; he managed to scare me. That's so hard to do, and he did it. He's even creepier in this game because of the opera music, and the pig noises. It was cool to see him corne to life like this.
What makes Pyg creepy is due to the fact that other villains even the Joker can be somewhat exaggerated in personality and insanity but the Pyg character can be very very real (except for the creating zombies part though) but it’s not the first time we heard of serial killers who mutilate their victims
Michael Alvarez While I love the game lets be honest, the boss battles were the weakest of the series. While this battle wasn't as innovative mechanically, at least they made the character entertaining (I visit GCPD just to hear him butcher the opera song)

So they don't just exist in books after all
no i mean like as kids we usually hear about monsters just being in books but as we get older we get crushed with realization that there are people like professor pyg out there I
True
So much better than finding all those riddler trophies... Fuck those things!
I was going to a vid so I could do all of them but got stuck here
Man, fuck Riddler
I liked how this particular side-mission ended. With that positive twist on the grotesque situation by Batman, how the imperfections are what identified the victims, tied them to Pyg.
I didn't even know this villain existed until now and he is one of my favorite villains now
Logan Murray I never heard of him before until this game and I hated him. But now, he's strangely growing on me
I suggest reading Grant Morrisons Batman when Pyg is first introduced he's always been one of my favorite villains when I was introduced to him and I'm glad RockSteady added him into the game
I always thought he was a chubby loser villain but now.ohohoh he's the best
Same!
One of the boss battles I actually liked in this game.
@Fire God Ignia i enjoyed them all, except the deathstroke and AK ones....
Sauce/source: Its an opera music called pygmalion.
The emotion dwight schultz puts in at 2:18 is stunning he plays pig not like a supervillain but a very mentaly unwell man who has a faust complex
True. And those dollotrons hardly pose any threat yet they are somehow creepier than zombies.
This was done better than the Jason fight though. There should have been more to that than just him trying to snipe you and grappling under where he was standing.
Yeah most batman villains aren't great fighters, and there should've been a Deathstroke fight for Arkham Knight instead of stealth and take down.
Is it just me, or is the cutscene reminiscent of the Dead Rising psychopaths?
Lord Vader By the Eight....
***** NEEDS MORE BUTTAH!
Michael Wellman Nine*
Yes
Lord Vader I was thinking it was more like the crazy guy from Outlast: Whistleblower who went around castrating men and trying to turn them into the "perfect wife".
Sorry to disagree there, but-AGKH.....N-NO....!......LORD VADER.....ACK.....(chokes to death)
Batman : Your insane
Pyg: And what are you?
That’s the Realest response to Batman I️ ever heard
Exactly same thoutghts. A guy who wears costume of a bat and who breaks people's bones every night doesn't look very sane lol
"Saner than YOU."
Batman: "I'm Batman."
@@insertsomenamehere8051 Does that make Spiderman insane too? Or Superman?
It's a shame that underrated Batman villians like Film Fan, Baby Doll, the Clock King and Ragdoll went without an Arkham-series treatment. I think they all have alot potential. Especially Baby Doll. Imagining her with the figure and behavior of a 5 year old girl with goldilocks, but the skin of a grandma, humming some children sond and drawing a picture about throwing a nuke at Gotham really gives me the creeps.
I was hoping to fight against The Ventriloquist
(if I spelled his name correctly) Too bad there's no side mission involving him.
*****
First: Baby Doll is mentally an adult. She suffered from Hypoplesia which made only her body stop aging at five.
Second: I don't know what's more despicable. Hating on children or that you honestly wrote the sentence quote: "Fuck little girls".
Third: Troll.
***** That's not an opinion. An opinion has reason. You're just swearing around like an idiot.
0ZERO5
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Ventriloquist. He's an interesting character. Although I think it would be hard to make an exciting boss battle with him. He's a random guy wearing a puppet wearing a gun. But maybe something inside an abandoned toy factory with giant sized Scarfaces or... you know... something like that.
*****
So yeah. Just a troll.
Wow Rocksteady really did add to the villain gallery!! :D
Now I want to know if the Ratcatcher is in this or not...
Winston Poptart They said in Arkham City that Ratcatcher was killed by Penguin.
GamerSlyRatchet1 NOOOOO
Link?!?
GamerSlyRatchet1 is Prometheus in the game??
Winston Poptart Look for the Arkham City stories for Ratcatcher's bilboard.
"I can't leave until I've rescued the other victims"
Walks over corpse of victim to switch.
Don't worry. They feel no pain.
huh...so that's why the game is rated M
Have you watched the Batman film "Batman vs. Robin", the sequel to "Son of Batman"? Watched the Dollmaker scene? The film was rated PG-13, anyway.
MysticalGreenBeanie That, and the Jason Todd torture scenes.
MysticalGreenBeanie He is definitely one of the reasons for M rating. Hill mentioned a "scene on the bloody operating table" as one of the reasons.
TypicalKHKfanboy I dont think you really got to see the Joker torture Jason. More see Jason after he had been tortured.
CyberLance26 Well it's still a touchy subject. I mean it's pretty obvious Jason was brutally tortured.
What an amazing preformance by Dwight Shultz! He captured the insanity of Pyg really well.
Professor Pyg reminds me of Eddie Gluskin from Outlast: Whistleblower. If this were an all-out horror game where you're character is defenseless, Pyg would be a really good antagonist. It would also be cool if you were being chased by the dollotrons during the story
Facts
Rocksteady nailed everything on this game. The atmosphere and the music really added to this scene.
2:07
Batman: You're Insane.
Pyg: *snort* AND WHAT ARE YOU?
Batman *im here to stop you*
Missed Opportunity To Say I'm Batman!
It's so creepy the way the dollotrons walk with their arms at their sides...
He is such a genius he figured out batmans weakness is a strategically placed table
Batman: 'I'm here to stop you.'
Pyg: 'That's not what I asked, but okay.'
Who else wants Pyg as a minor villain for the 2018 Batfleck movie?
NO.
Oh, yes please! (maybe if they're aiming for R rating?)
Really want Hush or Owlman, though (Matt Damon anyone?)...
+Bleach is it because u might drink ur self
ugh I do and I don't lol, repulsive fuck ain't he?
Did you know he's wildcat
2:45 Perfect and invincible, until Batman brings his fist down on your crotch.
What makes Pyg creepy is due to the fact that other villains even the Joker can be somewhat exaggerated in personality and insanity but the Pyg character can be very very real (except for the creating zombies part though) but it’s not the first time we heard of serial killers who mutilate their victims
The dollotrons aren’t zombies, they’re lobotomized and drugged.
the 10 minutes of arkham knight that turned it into a mature rated game.
I prayed for this character not to be in any arkham games.
It didn't work.
Now Pyg make Arkham better.
Pyg make Arkham perfect, pyg is like god
Pyg,Will fix you too.
Jesus Christ
James Frank God hates u then jk
The scary thing is that someone could actually be like Pyg in real life
OMG Pyg...so sickening and gruesome villain
lever BOX if they ever add pyg in a another batman cartoon they would have to come up with a new take for pyg than some sick artist
I think Of they want to put Pyg then another Cartoon,I think instead of surgery,The masks of the dollotrons would brainwash whoever wears them.
Human Toy Freddy The Nerdy Bear I like your idea on the brainwash dollotron masks for a batman cartoon
Yeah. As for Pyg himself,He can look like a surgeon,But with no blood spatters.
true
I know I'm going to have nightmares about him
Pyg make you perfect, snort.
Nightmares of him turning around a table
Batman: your insane: Pyg: What are you Me: Feeling dissapointment when Batman doesnt say im batman
This is really disturbing 😨
Michael Alvarez welcome to the dark world of gotham mate
Knew it was dark but not like creepy opra singing and creepy oinking dark
Michael Alvarez Grew up listening to opera so that's what made this mission that much better. Honestly one of the better boss encounters in the game.
dillamadukes21 how so
Michael Alvarez While I love the game lets be honest, the boss battles were the weakest of the series. While this battle wasn't as innovative mechanically, at least they made the character entertaining (I visit GCPD just to hear him butcher the opera song)
The guy who voices Pyg in my opinion, is so good at representing him and he does his job PERFECTLY.
4:18 To be honest Pyg has a solid 10/10 when he sings perfect
Pyg make her...better!
pyg give kim Kardashian plastic surgery
M'aiq the Liar PYg gave Kim the butt and made celebs pretty pyg
= illuminate confirmed
Pyg make all of us... better!
It's over
This is one of the best moments of the game. Truly creeped me out.
2:07 the dynamic between Batman and his villains in a nutshell
"Destroy him! So daddy can rebuild him!"
Do I have to kink shame a god damn Batman Villain
3 years too late but this is the funniest goddamn comment I’ve ever read
I think it's best not to know Pyg's kinks.
thanks for the nightmares, Rocksteady!
6:52 that take down is enough to make this the best game
Batman: You're insane.
Pyg: And what are you?
Pyg sure does bring up a valid argument
A Skype chat between Lazlo and Zsasz would definitely be.... Interesting
Zsasz is much crazier cause his ocd forces him to kill peoples
"I'm going to lock you away so you can't hurt anyone again"
(Puts him in a cell with several other prisoners)
Not nearly as bad as putting the firefighter chief in the same cell
I thought the main villain of this mission would be Hush.
Batman: You are insane.
Pyg: AND what are YOU!!!?
Ruslan Nurimbetov my names Jeff
"Saner than YOU"
Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist.
2:34 Excellent delivery. He sounds not only creepy but also like a mastermind. More than just an insane person.
In the boss fight, Pyg was smart to take advantage of Batman's one true weakness: a waist high table.
You're done here, Valentin. Let them go!
***** It's over.
***** You're insane.
***** I'm here to stop you.
Just wait until I roast you both!!
firefly ha all of you are cute
Batman: You’re insane
Pyg: And What are you?
This is the fucking mission that got this an m rating
Will Watt not only that. Barbaras suicide, jason todd torture scene and this.
Yeah but people mentioned a some kind of bloody operating table scene the most it's not that bad
Will Watt true but i dont think its that brutal i just think its weird. By between what is that bloody thing on pygs belt?
And this version of pyg belongs in manhunt or dead rising
Will Watt Don't forget the hallucination-Joker gameplay near the end.
