I wonder if that was also part of the reason he cried at the end. I imagine he would have been so overwhelmed and exhausted that everything would just come out

it’s kinda weird to feel so proud of someone you don’t personally know. congratulations cody!! so many of us are so proud of you and so happy for you!! you killed it! choo choo!!
This video actually made me cry. My dad was training for an Iron Man when I was six, and one day when he was training on his bike, he got hit by a car and is now paralyzed from the chest down. Watching your training videos always gave me anxiety because I was scared something like that would happen to you, so I'm so glad that you're okay and that you finished!!! Watching you cross the finish line was so inspirational and reminded me that I don't have to be so afraid :)
OMG, I am so sorry your dad and family had to go through that! I hope he is still around and fighting! 💓💗♥️ I can relate to your anxiety. I started losing the people I love the most from a young age and continued losing people my entire life, including my first fiancé. So now I am constantly worried that something will happen to my husband or my son's and mom. I feel like time is going by so fast, and grief is a life long thing that moves like the tide. Both me and my man have a lot of health problems too. I admire people that have it even worse than us and cab still push themselves so hard because both me and my husband tens to get stuck in our depression and anxiety, and we want so badly to snap out of that.
almost started crying about Cody’s Dad and the song oh my god. so proud of you Cody, it’s so amazing to see you grow and be passionate about this. see you at 50!!!
The way kelsey is there waiting for you and you told yourself to just get back to her and then seeing you guys at the end of the race made me tear up. Precious
I lost my dad 3 months ago I’m 23 years old and for the past month I started training because of your videos, training has changed the way I Grieve it’s made my mental health a lot better. Today I ran 17km 210m elevation which is the farthest I’ve ever run. I wish I could tell my dad about what I achieved but I wanna thank you for your inspiration. On my way to doing my first marathon. Also congratulations on becoming an Ironman. I hope one day I’ll see you at another! Choo choo!!!
Man, I’ve started running half a year ago, and I’ve already ran 2 half marathons, it’s started because a girl left me. I just want to say that if you want to run half a marathon, a marathon or more, you just need to push. Just stay on it, just run man. It’s hard mentally I know, but it’s such a great feeling when you finish. I love that when you train, your body just wants to eat healthier. Just want to say that I’m proud of you and hope you’ll achieve all your goals! Stay hard!
My husband and I tracked you on the Ironman app and just kept saying that we are so proud of you and couldn’t believe your fitness!! #celebrateyourfitness
Cody you're living proof that when you set your mind to something, curate a plan, and turn that plan into daily executable habits - anything can be accomplished! Well done Senior Train Engineer.
I think the greatest part is how much support there was from Cody’s wife & parents. I can’t imagine doing this without people encouraging you, especially the first time
I am crying at the Beautiful Day story! I’m running my first half marathon in 2 weeks, and this channel motivated me to sign up and keep going. I hope Cody feels the love the Choochies have for him and the joy that he brought to all of us. Energy is everything, choo choo, etc.
Good luck! I ran my first half last year and I'm about to do my second in two weeks as well!! There is no better feeling, let yourself feel the emotions that come up when you cross the finish. You deserve it!
After 2 years of training non-stop, I will be doing my first 100 mile race 🏃in a week and a half. I’m absolutely nervous and pumped… your journey has helped me stay positive… thank you Cody! I’m either going to finish or break my body trying!
I don't know you but this comment made me gasp LOL 2 years of training alone is insanely impressive and shows your dedication. 100 miles is almost inhuman!! Good luck, you're already accomplished :)
Really really loved that Kelsey was your anchor & motivator for that run. Such a testament to not only your mental/physical ability but also your love for her. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you!!
No one understands all the emotions you experience until you do an endurance event like a marathon or iron man. Videos like this always bring tears to my eyes. At 17 I did my first marathon, at 20 I did my second, and I knew even before I crossed that second finish line, that I wanted to do a third, a fourth, and probably an iron man. When the time is right I will join the club. I encourage everyone to do a marathon!! You can do it! Great video
I'm so fucking happy I cried dude. I don't know you, but I'm so proud and proud of everyone who's doing this. Gonna do this one day! We ascend together!
Proud of your brother. I ran my first marathon the same day as your Iron Man at the Orange Country Marathon. Finished in 3:37:08, super stoked. Thanks for training alongside me and keeping me honest and motivated!
Idk why but I got tears in my eyes seeing you finish - so proud. I hated running so much - thanks to you I did 10km run and am not going to stop. Thank you for showing me the beauty in the hard things in life Cody!

My mom and I watched the tiktok your dad posted of the day and we were amazed at the clip of you finishing how you just looked perfectly fine, no sweat, as good as ever, so it’s interesting to hear how much you were struggling. I think that’s what people love so much about this channel is that you’re open about how much this stuff sucks, but you still do it. I think a lot of people that make it look easy discourage people because people see it and think “well when I run, bike, etc I wanna die the whole time, I could never be where he is” but as weird as it sounds it’s helpful to know you suffer just as much as anyone lol, but of course also make it clear how rewarding it is at the end of the day.

What are the odds that the same song would play? That's crazy. It was so awesome to watch you train over the last year-ish. I actually bought a cycle again because of your videos. You go dude. Also, I love how loud the love you and Kelsey have for each other. Fantastic video Cody.
This made me so emotional lmao. I remember not being interested in watching the Cody Trains channel because I'm just not athletic so I didn't think the content would be for me. So I am honestly so stunned at how much you documenting your journey has affected me. I am so inspired by your hard work, sacrifice, and dedication! Congratulations man you are a freaking legend!! also #kelseyiswifeygoals we love a supportive wifey.
I just cried watching this, i think it's so easy to do these races and feel alone in your experience, but my last half ironman I similarly messed up my nutrition and felt awful, and hearing your story was so cathartic. Just a reminder of, "but we still finished the race" kind of energy. Much love
only started running three months ago because of this channel and I just ran my first half marathon this past weekend. cant thank you enough for this channel cody, you changed my life!!
Just wanted to say how much your journey helped me. I began training for “sea trials” at the military school about 11 months ago, and your videos helped me to push myself. I completed sea trials a few hours ago, and they played Beautiful Day by U2 at the end. My company even ended up winning! Watching your success made mine feel even better. Amazing job Cody!!
it's so incredible to see you put your mind to something & see it out to completion & do so well !!! you really went from being kinda down on yourself with things, drinking a lot during quarantine (no shame, we all did) to training for and completing a whole ass ironman !!! 🥳 CONGRATS DUDE WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU !!!!
I know my comment will probably get lost in the mix but first of all YOU DID IT CODY!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉 I can't believe how fast time passed and that it's over now... I found this channel at the very end of last year and was immediately hooked. I used to be a "it's impossible for me to run" person until 2020 when my ex-roommate wanted to do a couch-to-5K program and I tagged along for the training. We were planning on doing the 5K at Disney, but we ended up splitting up before that happened. During that training, I realized that I COULD run and that I actually enjoyed it a lot, but I fell away from running after I moved elsewhere. I eventually got back into very casual running after a DEEP bout of depression (which never really went away, but I found out that running made me feel a little better) and got my first runner's high about two years ago. Since then, I ran sporadically with little direction-but when I found this channel, I decided to look up 5Ks in my area. As of today, I'll be doing my first race ever, a 5K along the water here in Florida, on May 13th which is the day before my 26th birthday. I honestly would never have thought I could run a race let alone sign up for one if it weren't for this channel, and I really owe a lot to Cody. His silly inspirational pep talks (ENERGY IS EVERYTHING) are what made me feel like I could do it, even despite health problems I have and people in my life acting like it's weird that I run and aren't really supportive. I've also been inspired by everyone in the comments of every video talking about them starting to run or signing up for races because of this channel. So many races around the world owe a lot of their newcomers to Cody! Haha Anyway, this journey was awesome and I hope Cody gets to read some of these comments. I'm so glad he decided to document his training and I'm looking forward to the ultra marathon! 🙌🏼
CONGRATS CODY!!!!! Watching you train has been such a joy!!! I am a brand new runner, long time biker, and these videos are such kind, compassioante, but persistent motivation! You really make me think i can do anything if i take it day by day becasue I see you take it ride by ride, run by run. You are so wicked awesome, man. I can't thank you enough for sharing this part of your life. These videos are so approachable and encouraging and honest. You're spectacular. Congrats again!! Can't wait to see what's next!!!!!
Wow Cody. I am so proud of you. The beautiful day story made me tear up and “gaur caurdy” made me laugh. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!
I was unexpectedly emotional at moments while watching this. It’s super awesome to see someone work hard and accomplish something most people would never even consider doing given the commitment and grueling nature of the event. Great job, man!
Keeping up with this on the app was awesome! Seeing him cross the finish line was so cool, and everyone in the chat was pumped not only for Cody but everyone else too. What a dope community!!!
We obviously don’t know you Cody, but we’re so proud of you. You’re an absolute weapon. It’s been super inspiring watching the last 8 months for my own health and fitness journey. Choo choo you motherfckin legend.
Congrats Cody! I’ll be doing a 5K Saturday, I started running again because this channel Inspired me! And this year I’m gonna do my first 10k! Thank you for the inspiration! CHOO CHOO
even though we’ve never met you, we’re all incredibly proud of you 🫶 so happy for you and this channel has been such an inspiration for SO many people.
i cried when i saw that you had finished the race on the app!! it’s just an absolutely unbelievable accomplishment and a testament to human capabilities and resilience. i teared up throughout that whole next day every time i thought about it too, that humans are just like this, always striving to push physical and mental boundaries. and the testament to community, all the people who supported you either online or in person is so cool. thank you for sharing your experience
Cody, I have been watching your channel for years. I know you may never see this, but I felt the need to say that I cannot express enough how proud I think all of us are of you. It is such a fucking commitment to train as hard as you have and not stop early from a burnout, but you did it! You didn’t slip off! You have inspired so many of us to just better ourselves from watching your Cody trains videos (choo, choo). Currently I am going through a burn out like I stated earlier, it makes me respect you even more than I did before because it shows just how mentally strong you are to keep at. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. I can’t wait to watch and grow more in my fitness journey through inspiration through you. Congratulations Ironman! CHOO, CHOO!
I love you Cody 😭 I’m so happy for you and all you’ve accomplished I’ve been along for the journey since 2016, when you first started dating Kelsey and now you’re married 😭 when you first did insanely chill collabs with Noel and now you two have a hugely successful podcast, when you had 400k subs now you have almost 6 million, when you made a rap song as a joke and now you make bangers. It’s been a great journey and i can’t wait to see what else you do in the coming years 😭❤️
So fucking proud of you!!! Made me tear up seeing everyone cheer for you and so incredible that your parents were with you, absolute beasts! Eat all the treats and rest well you Ironman you!! I’m also so excited to hear you’ll be keeping the channel going, you’ve created such an inspiring and positive community in such a short amount of time. Choo choo!!
So proud of you, Cody! Following your training for these past eight months has been so inspiring and motivating, and following the race on the app, waiting for every little update and seeing you finish was such a great payoff to it all! What a journey it has been, even just witnessing it through a weekly video.
That’s why watching you achieve new things is so motivating. You don’t sugar coat things. You keep it so real and relatable. Knowing that it sucks but manageable is important, and thank you for sharing your true thoughts!
Cody even though I’ve never met you I feel so connected to you and this epic journey you have been on. So so proud of what you’ve accomplished. Sending you and your whole family so much love
Started tearing up of how proud I am for u! U did what a lot of us couldn’t, and I couldn’t be any prouder that u pushed urself to finish! Love u and all the work u put in just to accomplish the race! True inspiration!
I cried watching this my parents and I don’t have a good relationship so seeing him do this with his parents and explaining the memories made me very emotional.
Congratulations Cody, it was a lot of fun following you! If I wasn't training for my ocean row later this year, I'd be prepping for my own Ironman. Very inspiring sir
Wow the “beautiful day by u2” story about your dad is so incredible 🤯 congratulations on all your hard work, Cody! I found your main channel recently and I’ve been binge watching all of your videos lol, I love your sense of humor and the way you express your thoughts. Your iron man journey is super inspiring!
Also, if you care at all about numerology, your finish time with three 3’s is actually really cool. It’s said to symbolize “setting plans into action and letting your personal strength be the guide; trusting yourself and putting thought into your choices”. ❤
also huge shoutout to Tyler and Mat for the excellent work on this channel. Couldn’t have done it without you boys either.

this made me cry. I feel like it's weird to say this to someone you don't know but I'm so proud of you! choo choo
Seeing Kelsey being there for ya through it all and you crossing the line, seen it on insta, congrats to you and your family 👏🏻👏🏻
it's so incredible to see you put your mind to something & see it out to completion & do so well !!! you really went from being kinda down on yourself with things, drinking a lot during quarantine (no shame, we all did) to training for and completing a whole ass ironman !!! 🥳 CONGRATS DUDE WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU !!!!
Literally cried watching this. So inspiring!! Congrats Cody! Choo choo :)
the "stay locked and loaded" out of nowhere absolutely killed me
I cried when you started talking about your parents and continued to for the rest of the video. This is so cute and I’m so proud!!
Haha
Anyway, this journey was awesome and I hope Cody gets to read some of these comments. I'm so glad he decided to document his training and I'm looking forward to the ultra marathon! 🙌🏼
CONGRATS CODY!! This has been such an amazing and inspiring journey to watch. So proud of u!!🥳🥳🥳
CONGRATS CODY!!!!! Watching you train has been such a joy!!! I am a brand new runner, long time biker, and these videos are such kind, compassioante, but persistent motivation! The swim alone wouldve taken me 4-5 business days to finish so good on you Cody super impressive!!
I was unexpectedly emotional at moments while watching this. It’s super awesome to see someone work hard and accomplish something most people would never even consider doing given the commitment and grueling nature of the event. Great job, man!
i love cody's relationship with his family. it's all so pure and amazing. mama and papa Kolodziejzyk thank you for creating this goat

Cody,
I have been watching your channel for years. CHOO, CHOO!
so proud of you cody seeing you overwhelmed with emotion at the finish line is so inspiring!!
congrats cody! I had a lil cry watching this, youve worked so hard and you've done so well!
The way he used seeing Kelsey as motivation is so cute 🥹
I love you Cody 😭 I’m so happy for you and all you’ve accomplished I’ve been along for the journey since 2016, when you first started dating Kelsey and now you’re married 😭 when you first did insanely chill collabs with Noel and now you two have a hugely successful podcast, when you had 400k subs now you have almost 6 million, when you made a rap song as a joke and now you make bangers. It’s been a great journey and i can’t wait to see what else you do in the coming years 😭❤️
Why am I crying watching this. Thank you for making this channel & congratulations 🥳
Choo choo!!
Truly inspiring Cody!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. CHOO choo!!
So proud of you, Cody! Following your training for these past eight months has been so inspiring and motivating, and following the race on the app, waiting for every little update and seeing you finish was such a great payoff to it all! What a journey it has been, even just witnessing it through a weekly video.
well done, Cody. you're a rockstar. i feel so proud of you. you're so inspiring, i could cry.
Dude. So happy for you, can’t imagine how accomplished you must feel. Thanks so much for taking us on this journey with you.
As a fellow Aussie, your Aussie accent impression is my new favourite thing. Great work cody! Killed it🎉
That’s why watching you achieve new things is so motivating.

WELL DONE CODY!!! So inspiring and I've loved watching the journey on this channel!
i’m late to this but super proud of you cody! it’s been a journey and you’ve kept me motivation. i’m loving your fitness vlogs.
Was so close to travelling like 8 hours to cheer you on but glad to hear you did so well and had lots of support! Choo Choo❤
