- Pulled up to the studio to sit down with A-Wax and chop up game. A-Wax talks about growing up in Pittsburg, CA and how he did alot of moving with his siblings and mom. He explains how they moved alot from state to state and school to school do to the fact his mother was afraid of his father and had to always be on the move because his father was looking to harm her. He mentions how he holds no resentment towards his father because his mom and dad were young and trying to figure out life with kids. A-Wax also explains how he caught a case at the age of 16 and got tried as an adult. He says that when he went to prison, he was forced to grow up fast and learn that there was no room for error. Being surrounded by other grown men and some killers, he was forced to carry himself like a man and learn to demand respect the same way he gave it to others. A-Wax is big on encouraging his younger homies from his neighborhood to follow the vision and try to help them find a hobby there talented in and pursue it. A-Wax mentions how there's always another way to do things and a positive route to take but it doesn't just happen, you have to take baby steps in the right direction in order to make that transition. A-Wax can be found on all music platforms under the name "A-Wax"

I got mad respect for A-wax I had the pleasure to meet him in person and tell him my story face to face. I had been fighting cancer since 2019 and at night when it was just my thoughts and me alone in the dark abyss called depression, all I had was my headphones a-wax, trifegang, Pie-rx music on repeat man. All that music saved me from that deep dark hole nothing but respect for A-wax his music saved my life.

Could've been at one of the many camps at the onion farm but doubt that he would've even left Shelton at 16yo. WA never had juvenile life, and the closest crips are Tacoma hilltops 30 miles away. Looking at this man different now I know his back story. I have first hand experience with teenage murder and wa prison system.
