  • This STi is QUICK! So fast we had troubles filming the acceleration clips - watch!
    OTS Stage 1: goo.gl/aTsu8F
    Stage 2 Kit: goo.gl/d8wc7h
    Capable of 331whp/347wtq (+59whp/+58wtq over STOCK!)
    We are excited about the official release of our Subaru STI Stage 2 Performance Package which, when combined with the included Stage 2 optimized Accessport Tune, is a very potent performance upgrade! Throughout the R&D, testing and calibration phases of the EJ powered 2015+ STI platform, we have been thoroughly impressed with the performance gains from each hardware modification. Better yet, our MAPerformance STI downpipe and air intake systems were designed to support considerably higher power levels allowing for future growth; the included USA Made performance parts support power levels any bolt-on turbo upgrade can throw at them!
    For questions regarding the tune, contact otstunes@maperformance.com.

      Okays so your taking a comparing an engine who has 15+ years of R&D versus a new engine with 5+ years of R&D :p Give the FA 15+ years of R&D and then we talk which is better engine. I mean they recently released BRZ manifold kit for the WRX that allos for improved breathing and port injector option. In the meantime the trans in the STI is superior.

    • @maperformance
      @maperformance  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome! Glad to hear you are going to be rocking our Stage 2, as for power between the exhausts you should see very similar numbers. Exhausts typically don't add too much HP so the difference would be very minimal if at all.

    Just ordered my stage 2 guys! super excited! I live in NC so we do get all 4 seasons. I purchased this recently and I can tell you it’s a massive waste of money. They’re deliberately misleading you. The Accessport doesn’t support these parts. If you install them, you will throw the P0420 code and CEL. This means you’ll never pass emissions or be able to pass inspection and that’s even with a protune. No way around it. Needless to say I’m stuck with expensive parts that I can’t return or use.
      Why sell the Accessport or promote it with a package that it doesn’t support. This is an unethical business approach

  • @ff1gaming695
    @ff1gaming695 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question! I plan on getting an aftermarket catback in the future, should I put aftermarket option on that part or if I do so will it not fit my stock catback. Also, I understand downpipe and I take require tuning. With the install of these two all I would need is to download and run the stage 2 map. I wouldn’t need to use a tuner or anything? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you!

    • @maperformance
      @maperformance  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question - I would still get the option for the stock catback, so it includes the Grimmspeed adapter that you will need. Once you get an aftermarket catback, you can simply remove the adapter. In order to run our Stage 2 tune, you will need both the MAP intake and downpipe. Hope this helps!

    • @maperformance

      For the STi it must be our MAP intake and downpipe. Other catted downpipes can work, though.

    • @stuna101a
      @stuna101a 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A intake and a downpipe is the same from one company from another. The build quality is what your paying for, the actual flow and bends are the same. Let's face it a filter attached to a plastic pipe is just that, the plastic might last longer form one company to another but performance wise it's the same.

    • @BENJOWO
      @BENJOWO 6 ปีที่แล้ว
