竹皮向內（竹皮向射手）比較不會裂，因為竹肉彈性比較好，比較能承受張力，所以竹肉向外。竹皮比較硬，無法承受張力，所以竹皮向內。

the bow isnt realy powerfull at all and would barely penetrate bone but yeah chances are there
this bow not have power penetrate human skin inside newer haha maybe if shooting 1 meter near.

i has made same before, have good bow only childrens or training bow not power weak shit have im glad if can shooting to target ower 5 meter far.

No offence meant, but you will never get a superior bamboo bow with the weak inner fibres exposed on the belly. Looking at the end cut of bamboo, the power fibres are concentrated at the outer side. Building the bow with a belly lamination of intact bamboo, nodes intact on the belly side, will greatly improve the performance and resistance to taking a set. To continue the improvement, burnish the back bamboo with a hard metal burnishing tool, and temper/heat treat the belly bamboo to a somewhat golden brown. The big challenge of course is tapering the laminations before the glue up, as you can’t tiller the bow by shaving down the belly after the glue up without removing the all important power fibres. Just look at a Japanese Yumi for a master class on bamboo bow making
