I toured this one a couple months ago. It has potential, a good fit for someone out there but given how much work it needs the price will need to keep dropping. I feel bad for the person that bought this place sight-unseen for $3m last summer. The previous seller's CGI listing made it look like a move-in-ready paradise. We would need to get an engineer and environmentalist to confirm for this specific property/parcel, but neighboring homes have docks and piers for boat access. I would have to have a dock w better access. Even one like at your house...the gang plank. I haven't been back to the keys in a few years. Since the late 80s, I spent lot lots o' time in the keys, filling coolers w fish and bugs at channel 5. Diving in KW was the BEST then. I loved visiting, and always anticipated my next trip. The people who are paying the crazy prices for homes in the keys don't know how fast their marine environment is dying. They actually missed the best days. I Packed up and moved from South Florida two years ago. I live at nearly 10k feet in the Colorado mountains now. Traded in all my boats, fishing and diving gear for ATV's, which I really enjoy riding in the mountains. Check out my videos on you tube. I enjoy watching ur husband's videos of him spearing and fishing...I haven't had fresh fish for a few years now, I'm jealous.
No, there isn’t an elevator on this home. You could certainly put one in though! I have another video (Hidden Island Paradise) that has a brand new elevator already installed. I completely understand and agree with where you're coming from. It's a term that is definitely being faded out given the context/history of it. I actually try to make sure to say "primary bedroom" instead, but so many people still use "master" so it slips on occasion. Appreciate you watching though!
It costs a premium to live in paradise! Beachfront acres are very rare in the Keys, so it’s expensive to obtain just the land and building rights alone. The home doesn’t need a million dollars put into it though. I encourage you to look at the neighboring homes’ list prices to understand our market better. If it was turn key, I promise you it wouldn’t be close to this price one bit. 😀

2.6 million fixer upper? 😂😂 thats wild to have to buy a 2.6 million dollar home and have to put another million dollars into finishing it.
