I would go longer than 90 seconds before working on the air bag I would go at least 3 minutes or more and remove the fuse too. The green wire is for the horn. But other than that great video.
Can you upload a video to tell us what you have done to the car and what you plan on doing and maybe your thoughts on it like what can you upgrade or if you have aftermarket wheels what dimensions do you recommend
I accidentally put the steering wheel on crooked, but I corrected the error afterwards. There should be centering marks already on the steering wheel and steering column.
The green wire, which I think is the horn, what's the function of that band it's connected to? My horn isn't working, and before replacing the whole clock spring, I'm wondering if it's possible that metal band just isn't making contact? Connections all look good, hate to replace the clock spring and still have a non working horn.
Hi, we're needing to replace the ignition - I think it's called the barrel or lock cylinder - on my daughter's 2006 Nissan Tiida after it was stole and the ignition smashed (we can start it with a screwdriver, it's all quite damaged and bent though). Do you have any videos of how to do this? Or do you know how we could do it? When we remove the plastic caps for the airbag there are what look like security screws - they are star shaped sort of with a bit in the middle, so we're unsure how we would undo these, or if a special tool/screwdriver is required? Does the Nissan in your video also have these type of screws? As you only used a flathead screwdriver so I'm unsure how that worked. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Battery and bumper removal help a lot. The DC Sports intake goes around the brake fluid reservoir and then it bolts on next to the radiator. I installed the cold air intake on my Versa a year and a half ago, well before I started this TH-cam channel. If you haven't already, check out online forums for some extra guidance. I got the DC Sports intake because it's California compliant and doesn't throw any engine codes, it was also on sale at the time I bought it.
@@cali_viceversa I just installed an 2010 versa SL steering wheel and added the lighted controls on my 09. If was really easy and they look great at night. I really recommend you to do it if you haven't. I checked the wiring on the one you have and it seems to have the wires for the lighted controls. There's a forum online on how to do it.

The black piece from the connector is suppoed to be popped out first. And the green wire is for the horn .

Did the radio controls work? I've just added both the cruise and radio controls and mine dont seem to work, tho I do have a aftermarket radio in.

I have a 2011 Versa but it HD the basic steering wheel. Would I I able to buy a new one with the buttons on it and install it to work ?
Do you have to line up the steering wheel or is it keyed to sit straight when you replace it

Hello, what year is your versa? Do your steering wheel controls light up when you turn on the headlights?
I have a 2009. The steering controls do not light up. This was a feature for 2010-2012 models.

other than the irrational fear of my airbag going off and knocking my head off my shoulders this was pretty easy to do
How were u able to take of the air bag. I keep struggling to push the pins to remove the air bag
