- Putting together a G-Shock Rangeman GW9400-3 (Green color) Casio Watch. Lot of tiny parts and sensors to reattach.

for future reference, at about 9:15 that flat wire that you plug into the interface has a little release lever on the interface itself. it just pulls up real easy.
he destroyed the watch and will sell it as new...
For anyone ever searching what the lever is and how you release it: it's the white part of the interface and you have to flip it up to open it and press it down to close it.
There is a reason that these watches are designed, mfg'd and assembled in a class 1000 clean room in Japan or Thailand.

I wish Casio put vibe alarm on some of the higher end Gs. I'm an old dude and the alarm is just too quiet and no chance to hear it under a sleeve. I think there's a gap in the market for super loud alarm Gshock or vibe alarms (like when I rock my GD350) - us old dudes, who punished our eardrums with too many headphone hours, need some consideration from the mighty Casio.
What do you think of the vibration on the GD350? Strong enough for you? I think it could be a bit stronger. I personally like the feature.... much more subtle and discreet than beeping, but give the user the option. Thanks for watching and commenting Freeatlast!
@@GiShockGo I agree, if the vibe had two settings like the light has, a normal vibe and extra 50% vibe, I think the GD350 would be better. If they could fit this in a 5610 or similar square and drop the multiband in favour of just bluetooth and maybe put in a temperature sensor, I think that would be a near perfect G. What are your favourite Gs? Is it just me, or does the new Rangeman, look too much like a computer and not a G. What do you think of the GPW1000 and 2000. Too many questions, I know, lol.
After seeing how you assembled the watch, may I ask if the sensors of the watch still functions after you folded the ribbon/ connector witn your tweezer?
Danilo 1310 yes luckily.... Have to be more careful though. Don't want to puncture or sperate and wires accidentally

How do you do the AC reset on the GW9400
I am getting puzzled: do you need a Panasonic CTL1616 lithium or a CTL1616F battery for a Tough Solar like Rangeman?
Dude just lift the white section of the socket to put the ribbon with no unnesesary force :)

Have to service my O rings and straighten my E clips. Do you know how often the O rings should be serviced ? My Rangeman had buttons sticking and clicking when press due to dirt in the button housing. Buttons are working way better now all I have to do is lubricate the O rings and close it probably hope everything goes well.
Do those screws on the face plate of the watch do anything, mine won't tighten and keep turning? They seem to be in there alright but just won't completeley tighten up
there were two extra tiny springs and two tiny boards or sensors or something that came out of mine, that you didnt put back in yours. im not sure where they came from.
Good evening, I want to ask what happens when you open it with the waterproofing, is it still at 20 bar?
As long as you replace the gasket, make sure everything inside the watch is seated properly, and screw down the back plate correctly, the 20bar resistance should not be compromised.
Can you remove the negative film from the LCD screen when making watch from negative to positive?

I unplugged my sensor do I need to preform a AC reset for the sensor to work?
Kratos the barometer will be blank because it resets the barometric pressure data.

I opened it up to service the O rings on the watch so I disconnected the sensor and plugged it back in.

Kratos it sounds like the sensor isn’t making contact. Make sure you close the hatch by pressing down on it after you push the sensor cable all the way in.
