I started watching you when you were on the Forestry Trunk Road, ever since your videos have gotten to another level. Keep on doing what you are doing ,you are a breath of fresh air unlike other channels using dogs and cats to get money out of the viewers. Kevin i wish you the best luck on your job hunt this winter, work lots of overtime...lol...so you can go on adventures next summer again and please take us along with you via videos. Take care and stay safe.
@@suemeyer7551 have you ever heard of cash flow? living this life style is not cheap, Kevin as mentioned that fuel alone runs around $2,000.00 per month, I love watching his videos and i really believe in time he will be able to do TH-cam full time, till then keep working(winter) save money for traveling season. Of all of the TH-cam creators i watch i have noticed that the ones that have gone full time and are doing well financially are the ones that kept working till the income from TH-cam matches the income from whatever job they had. I watch a few people that live in their vans in Canada that if they have a $500 repair job to do in their vehicles they make it sound like it's the end of the world, i find that pathetic. Kevin is a fine young man, in my opinion i don't think he will ever become a e-beggar or liar like the majority out there. Wish you a wonderful day @suemeyer😀
I like your videos, brings back lots of good memories of when we did it years ago in a 24ft class C. That Moho was only 5 years old at the time, but it saw a lot of forest service camp spots and hot springs. Never damaged it or had it drag, but the suspension got a work out. As for the Pizza stone, I’ve always done the cheap version of a 13”x13” porcelain tile from Home Depot. Look for the discontinued tiles, usually $1 each. I’ve had 8 motorhomes and I’ve yet to break an oven tile! I wish I could do a truck camper and go further off road, but the headroom is an issue. Pretty sure the ceiling height on your camper is only 6’5”, so I would have my head pressed against the ceiling!
Kevin, I have huge respect for you keeping these special spots special. Keep it up. We can all enjoy them immensely with you through your videos. Your videos are peaceful, scenic and refreshing. Thanks for sharing with us. From a fellow 🇨🇦👋😁.
Kevin, I stumbled upon your vids when I was researching northern lite campers. I enjoyed this video. Have to say we have similar energy. Keep on keepin on. 👊🏼😎
I've done it! After first finding Kevin's channel by accident, I watched every video from the beginning. I'm so glad I did. He has a great personality and shows us the beauty of Canada. This channel is unbelievable and I'm not sure why he doesn't have more subscribers. I guess I now can go to sleep. 😴 (my bed goes north to south) lol Thank you Kevin for creating a wonderful channel.
Really enjoying your vids man. I’m recovering from a back injury living in my Rv in the mountains in Washington just loving the places you go. Keep up the good work.
We sweep everything into a pile and I have a small cordless vacuum used to get pet hair off of furniture, I suck up the dirt with, then do my cushions on the dinette and recliner cushions.
I kept a fairly large rock in the camper or truck. Whenever I used the oven I would put the rock on the back of the stove over the vent. By the time supper was ready the rock was hot, it helped keep the camper warm. Don’t forget to put it away when you’re ready to travel again
I love how you love life and are very up beat and I’m glad you got to enjoy our beautiful Vancouver island! Keep up the the great videos they are sooooo enjoyable great music, not so loud that it snuffed you out, soothing, relaxing and lots of fun to watch ,thank -you!
Glad you enjoyed your time on the island! I've lived here for 30 odd years and it never ceases to amaze me with its beauty... ohh, i mean. it sucks! nothing to see here tourists! :)
Wow what a great spot. I enjoy your positive attitude and your big smile. Thanks for taking us along. Of all the places I would consider moving Vancouver Island is in the top five.
The first time I made that six hour flight from home (NS) to the west coast, the beauty and charm of BC just blew me away! The folks we met there were fantastic. Didn't make it to the ferry in time for Vancouver Island, but, getting a good idea of what it's like through your trip. Yet another great video - thank you.😊
You look cozy and I love to cook in the RV on days like that. I do oxtails, chicken tetrazzini, or hasenpfeffer ( go to a local meat purveyor), maybe a Hungarian ghoulash, even all day pork chops in sauerkraut. My go to is Mac and cheese using Mexican Velveeta and Carolina reaper shredded cheese from Walmart for a kick! I eat good in my neighborhood!
Looks like a replanted loging road. Huge big truck travel those roads, safely. It's how you find the really great places. Living on the Island means living with the rain and the odd storm. It's just wet. I love living on the Island.
Kevin, your idea to use the stone as a shield against burning food in your camper oven is smart. Great idea!!! Yummy pick for pizza toppings :) love the easy clean-up method :)
We were in the end site by the creek in your video. Have been to this magic place many many times. intend to return as often as possible. good video and appreciate not advertising where located. sometimes very busy in spite of the poor road conditions. 4 wheel drive on the "hill" a good idea. continue to enjoy your nomadic way of life!! campers are the way to go!!
Really really enjoyed this video. Gorgeous location and excellent footage. I love camping in the rain too. The sound of the rain on the roof is therapeutic. Hawaiian pizza for the win! Noice. Thanks so much for taking us along. Take care and safe travels.
Hi Kevin, how are you ? Rather a bit late mate watching your video. Awesome views in this video, very interesting, thank you for taking me with you. I to also love the rain especially when I am in my narrowboat, have a fibreglass roof. I can't wait for the next video Kevin. Take care ❤ X X X
Cool to see you enjoying the island! We have the highest density of Black Bears in the world. We have grizzlies on the island now as well. I’m 99% sure they have been spotted in Elk Bay and close to Browns bay haha!
"It's the same only different" 🤔🤪 Hello again from across the Atlantic. So phenomenally beautiful. Thank you as always for sharing yet another day in your adventurous life. Tc ☺️
This makes me happy I start the genny inside. I haven’t tested it charging batteries yet but it should be able to charge 35amps at 51.2v. (140amps equivalent on a 12v system)
For consideration. Get a pizza peel and semolina flour or cornmeal and parchment paper. Put the pizza on the peel with a good helping of flour between the pizza and paper. Heat the oven to 475 with the stone in the oven, then using the peel slide the pizza directly on the stone with the paper under the pizza. In 5 minutes using a spatula or the peel turn the pizza 180 and remove the paper. In 5 more minutes remove the pizza. Adjust timing depending on the thickness of the dough. It will make a fluffiest pizza crust you’ve ever made.
Nailed another one buddy! Also looking like you're going to hit 10k subs this weekend!!! What an amazing accomplishment in such a short time. 100k here you come!
Thanks for sharing this one Kevin. What a nice spot. Your pizza looked sooooo good. Enjoy the solitude. Hopefully the sun will be out soon..Have a wonderful day….
A beautiful amazing spot! As you say, just gorgeous. Watching your videos allows us to see these beautiful places which we would otherwise never get to see. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Great video Kevin. Enjoyed you taking us along your adventures. How you spend your days is amazing and your spot looks like heaven. I look forward to more videos. Land yacht …awesome :)
Great Video, sitting here at a campfire 🔥 relaxed watching it. 3 days left of 14 then I'll be moving on to another State Park. Paynetown, Indiana Campground is awesome off the Monroe Lake.
I think that’s the same place I was in July, about 35 km off of the main road north of Campbell River. I didn’t actually stay in the rec site, I boondocked about half a kilometre away.
@@KevinWaldsAdventures the more of the video went on I realized that it’s not the same spot, but it looks very similar, right on the ocean after a very steep descent on a very gnarly road, cruise ships going by etc. I can’t wait to go back
Welcome to the island! I feel your frustration with the parked campers. And I approve your delicious tortilla pizza 😋… BTW you can roll that thing up after cooking and enjoy a burrito pizza
This was a gorgeous video, and I really enjoyed it. I have watched your videos from the very first one, and I have never been disappointed. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
What a beautiful spot ! Well worth the 13 km. Take your bear spray when u walk the beach. You probably won't need it but be ready if you do. Also keep close when you go to sleep. Enjoy our beautiful Island. We are so lucky to have all of this at our doorsteps, basicly. Thanks for the journey.
Between you and JJ out there you both do such a great job representing Canada and some of our hidden treasures. Thanks by the way on the pizza stone. Karen has already commented and it looks like we’ll be adding pizza’s to the menu!!
Fantastic to see your channel grow Kevin! Question - How does Starlink perform with low clouds? Have you noticed any difference between clear skies and cloudy skies? Thanks!
Really enjoying these camper videos Man. I'm here in Utah and I bought me a truck camper used kind of old from the late 80s. But it has a bathroom shower toilet black tank gray tank. Kitchen and everything. I had to replace the water heater cost me 400 bucks. And the water pump but I also added 200 amp hour lithium batteries. I haven't done it yet but I want to do what you're doing
Isn't that Wild Cozy Camper by the Ocean eating a Fantastic Pizza you cooked in a Oven Wow So Happy For You 😊🙏👍 Great Job on Video Great Job on Music pick 🎶 Peaceful 😊Yeah History on Train 👍
The Island is always worth it. Its vibes are like no other. I’m so lucky to have been born and raised in BC. ❤️❤️ So much to explore. Where was the Rec Spot? My brother would love it.
Can’t go wrong with homemade pizza. We use naan bread. Gives it a much thicker base but doesn’t burn or crisp up so it’s really tender.
The Pacific is so peaceful and calming, I love your campsite.

I would have to agree, probably in my top 3 places so far. It’s just so dynamic in landscapes and feels a bit slower. Love it!
Switchbacks down the encarpment to the Bella Coola Valley is an 18% grade. So this is good practice if you want to go there! Great video!

I will not forget the two men who tried to pin me in on a logging road. I did escape with perseverance and God grace. You did from Alberta
Production quality of these keeps amazing me.
Long Beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island is even more spectacular.
I need to get out there next summer..I'm a mountain girl first but the ocean is definitely second.
The Coast is always worth it!👍😎🇨🇦🌊🌿
Yes, the views are beautiful..... but the view of YOU tops them all. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Pineapple on pizza???awesome Kevin.
Is there any other way? 😁

Stunning view. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Hey Kevin I use flat wraps, almost similar to what you made Maybe you should get a cover for your bike so it won’t rust out the chain
I thought about that but I think my tail light would be blocked
I take the bike off for winter aswell to avoid any salt getting to it
You should be cooking your pizza directly on the pre heated pizza stone.
Yes!! And make the pizza on the bottom side of your pizza pan then it will be easy to slide onto the stone! 🤗♌️
Thought for sure dinner would have been sea food at that great camp site
