For sure. Not only is he proof that absolutely anyone can achieve great things with hard work and dedication, which is what the Smash community has always stood for, but he has also done what many others haven't - he acts as a mentor and as someone who makes others want to join the community, not stay away from it or feel abused by it. So many professional smash players have credited him as an invaluable training partner and a positive influence, and it's sad that others have done pretty much the exact opposite.

I'll also add that I don't social media much, but I relate to M2K probably more than any other youtube personality, and this video in particular just compelled me to comment.
While I am lucky to have fairly normal sexual function, I 100% relate to a lot of the other things M2K talks about. Social relationships were quite difficult for me and didn't really "click" for me until I was about 23-ish. And even now at 32 I swear I just have a very good social emulation engine running in my brain.
I much prefer just "raw" communication without all the bells and whistles (This is part of the reason I love listening to M2k talk about things; it is very refreshing to me to just have unfiltered communication). And I 100% understand what M2k means when he says "I'm not sure who to trust", because indeed, it is hard to discern who is just putting on pretense these days (especially with the amplification and distancing factor of social media).
All this to say that throughout all the insanity of today, one thing remains true like it has regardless of nation, or time period: family and friends. There are always people out there who will be true friends for you, and it is very possible to build a loving family of people around yourself that you can trust.
There is a lot of cruel people out there, yes, but they will never cease. So, the best course is to just surround yourself with the people who do make you happy. And yeah, sometimes there is no hope in one area of your life, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of hope in another.
Now I'm rambling, but hopefully M2k reads all these comments and gets a bit of an uplift. Hell, maybe we all can get a bit uplifted.

I really hate false allegations of this shit. In the middle of serious allegations and a lot of people going through the trauma of what they experienced, some dipshit decides to put all that in jeopardy by pretending to have dirt on innocent people.

He's been an inspiration for a lot of people, helped in the development of this hobby that spawned a community, often by providing free help like his old data, he's famous for his incredible success, and he's done it all very publicly from a position of serious disadvantage. As he said in the documentary, he's "proof that a nobody can become best in the world." He's a walking American Dream. If you'd like to go deeper, that's about as heroic as it gets, since cultural heroes are traditionally those that uphold the values of their society.
He ain't perfect, but his life story is hard to dispute as heroic.

It was just some dude on twitter who posted a screenshot of a conversation with his friend and it boiled down to "A friend who heard from a friend who livestreamed a story he heard about Mew2King" and people bought this shit instead of using their brains for half a second and actually reading the accusations. Hell the "victim" in this case hasn't said anything or as far as I know is even aware of it.

In order to win a case, you need to be able to prove that the doctor didn’t follow the procedure correctly. That is very hard to prove, his mom consented to the elective surgery and consented to the risks. It’s awful

It's like this for an innocent man who just likes to play Smash. The depression, the anxiety, the hurt inside him. And this is a man who is an incredible player, a strategist, a champion. And because all these allegations, his hand has been forced to divulge a secret he never wanted to share. My heart bleeds for him, because I can understand where he's coming from.
I never knew this whole thing was going on until I randomly saw Sky's video today. Never heard of m2k before today either, but man I'm so sad about this situation. The problem is "cancel culture" where accusations are taken at face value and people run with the "guilty until proven innocent" mindset which is literally the opposite of the process of a fair trial. People read an accusation and it becomes the defendant's job to prove their innocence, but it should be the accuser's job to prove what happened is true even more. I know this can be difficult and not every victim has physical evidence / receipts / etc. to prove someone is guilty, but when people take claims at face value and believe anything that is stated about another person then shit like this happens. Nobody ever needed to know this about M2K and I can't imagine how much pain it has caused him and will continue to cause him now that he felt he had to reveal this to the world just to prove he didn't do something that someone made up about him. Please don't say this is the whole MeToo movement, this is the side of the movement where disgusting people are taking advantage of the situation and trying to lie for their own personal gain / because they don't like someone. That's like saying BLM is cancer because some people are taking advantage and looting stores when in reality almost everyone for the BLM movement peacefully protests and has not rioted or looted anywhere.

@@supasf I brought up the BLM part to just compare it to another movement, I didn't mean to start a whole discussion about it. And I guess I agree with your points, I'm just saying that I do think it was necessary for MeToo to happen to allow actual victims to get justice and have their abusers punished, but yes there are so many people that abuse the movement and make false claims. I don't know about half of the claims being false, I don't keep track of every claim ever made. I think a lot of BS claims are made that do get swept under the rug because they're not credible but obviously there are a lot of BS claims that are treated as fact too. With the BLM part I mainly was talking about the protests currently going on and how the media portrays all the protesters as violent and looting when across the country a large majority of the actual protests going on are actually in fact peaceful but people see a small percentage of the protests become a riot and now there's some narrative that all the protests going on right now are violent and people are burning down every city. Again I was just trying to make a comparison to the claim about MeToo being a BS movement with something that is relevant and has a similar thing happening with people abusing the movement for evil.
Jason, I’m in a very similar situation. I was circumcised and my testicles didn’t drop when I was born and they had to be removed from my stomach after birth. I’ve had various surgeries down there to help improve things but all the cuts and scars have made all sensation mostly gone and hardly noticeable. I suffer from very bad erectile disfunction and have to depend on 100mg of Viagra just to have a normal sex life. I’m only 25 and just want you to know that your not alone. I’ve found the love of my life and she accepts and understands everything, we don’t want kids but if we ever did we know adoption is just as good. Keep your head up, we are here man.

The rocking back and forth is called stimming and I’ve notice Jason do it as well when he is exited. My little brother is moderately autistic and he stimms a lot so I know about these things. It is a response of not being able to process sensory information correctly so it’s not really a coping mechanism towards trauma per se but can be . Regardless I wish him the best whatever he is going through.

I swear to god with each day that passes I am losing more and more faith in humanity.
This is incredibly painful to watch. Watching someone who I respect tremendously having to share this detail of his life is terrible. I can even tell he's struggling, and it pains me. There is no justification to share this information unless pressured to. Its insane how much impact the internet can have on a single person. I hope he's well and will return better than ever.
It's mental someone can just write 2 lines on twitter or a post on instagram and the accused has to give tons of documentation and life details and NOT the accuser.

You might make a joke about cancer, or call someone cancer, but you're not going to laugh at a cancer patient to their face. I was born with a micropenis, and like most people in my situation, you don't realize it's such a negative thing until middle school locker rooms. Immediately I began to realize there was something wrong with me, and at my first job lifeguarding at the YMCA, I confided in someone I considered to be my best friend. I went to a party they invited me to, and after one too many drinks, they spilled the beans about my member size to what seemed like everyone within the vicinity. I was pointed and laughed at until I left the scene profusely crying all the way home. This was just the start. Some of my friendships would go south and consequently spread word of my condition to friends, professors, and even family. I became the laughing stock of my high school and rarely found refuge within my own home since my brother used it as a crutch for joke making within my immediate family. Like M2K, I continued to tell myself "it's okay, size has never mattered, you can do insane work with your tongue and no one will bat an eye at your condition." Unfortunately, after numerous sexual endeavors that have led to women either callously laughing at my member or ending our relationship just days after witnessing my physical condition, it becomes increasingly difficult to push darker thoughts aside. Needless to say, the immediate resolutions entailed by suicide alongside the justification of my situation makes it an increasingly appealing option as the days go on.
*Explanation* :
No one actually understands how important the concept of sex is, that is, the ability to indulge in sex without even having sex. Simply knowing that you could have satisfactory sex at some point in time is all you need in order to be conscientiously content about your sex life, in the average case (there are definite exceptions to this where zero intimacy leads to depression). It sucks that male genitals are such a common joke among the general public because every time someone makes a penis joke, I (and I'm sure M2K as well) writhe with anger and all those suppressed thoughts are quickly brought back to mind. Ignoring all society constructs and personal longings, the underlying reason why we are all here, and the sole reason for any living thing that has walked this Earth, is to repopulate - Being at such a deficit with respect to the general population causes mental scarring that I didn't even understand was possible until recently. So while it may seem like M2K isn't too hindered by his condition, the emotional trauma caused by his condition does not allow him to see "the light at the end of the tunnel", and he's even explained that this shit gets worse with age (which is research much like mine that shows that your member size only decreases with age, yet another deterring fact regarding my situation). So what can you do? You often sit and ponder your options but become stuck in an endless loop of self pity and loathing. You attempt to remediate the situation in your own head, mentally, but this often brings you to research on the internet and seek help from doctors where the truth of the situation only becomes more prominent. It's a fucking ruthless thing, really.

You can have a partner (husband, wife, or whatever), even without the need to have sex (At the moment, my wife and I do not have sex and we are still a happy couple planning to have a daughter through adoption in the future).
AND even then, having a partner does not directly relates to your value as a human. Your value is what you create, in the things you do. There has been a lot of influential people throughout history without a partner, and there is no reason you cannot be one of them.

I think one of the many problems Mew2King faces is finding people in the same situation and being able to talk to them without walking into a pity party. The first competitive smash set I ever saw ever was of you playing project m Mewtwo in 2014, and since then you’ve always been one of my favorite players. I even remember being in line behind you at smash n splash 4 and being just mystified as I was in the presence of someone who had gotten me into the community that I called home. And I just want to say that it is always worth sticking around. And you have the right mindset of “hey maybe it will get better” because it will, and for you it looks like it already has. Anyways, thanks m2k for making my childhood and adulthood better, by just being you. But there have been many in the smash community who have admitted to allegations being true and come clean. It is not surprising a few are false, but I think most are not. To further answer your question; yes, if there's not enough evidence to prove guilt then the accused in innocent. The presumption of innocence is an actual human right. Going by the system you seem to be pushing, people would be able to take down content creators just by getting together enough friends and making false allegations. He's guilt until proven innocent if there are many allegations, right?

The presumption of innocence is, in fact, a human right. It can be found in article 11 of the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It's legitimately a human right, and for good reason.

sure people say sex isn't everything. but having a huge chunk of your sexuality taken from you without choice is absolutely and undeniably brutal. it's impossible to not feel defeated about anything in the future as far as intimate/romantic relationships. it's essentially a curse. strive for what you truly want, never give up. there is undoubtedly someone deserving of an amazing and heartfelt person like you.
concerning all the heavy weighing thoughts on religion, you are more than good enough of a person. anything you talked about would not result in some eternal hell. remind yourself that everything you feel and do is not something to be looked down on. from what you said you are very thoughtful and caring. those thoughts of punishment are from other people and ideals. you are not doing anything wrong. overcoming the fear instilled by them will help a lot to ease your mind. believe in yourself and the close friends you trust. your passion for smash and the community you built up is valued by many.

as true as this statement is.... i feel like m2k should be able to hear stories from people that have the ability to have sex but they stuggle with issues with being addicted, or having a misconsruced view on women...

normally i'd try to dissuade people away from religion, but in his particular case it's probably not the best case.
be reminded that his fear of hell, even though is contributing to his depression, is helping prevent him from committing suicide. so although you have good intentions on telling him that being a good person is what matters, it's probably best to not say anything at all as he might come to the conclusion that "i'm a good person so it might be forgiven by god for killing myself".
it's best to leave him with his current religious thoughts it they are actively protecting him from suicide, and trying to address the reason of his depression instead.
Thank you guys for elaborating on certain points, even if my thoughts were no fully fleshed out. This was only meant to be a brief view of my opinion and i'm grateful people care for what i had to say.
