Nice one boys! I gave these a go for the first time last week, worked a charm I ended up getting a mulloway 💪🏼 video will be up on Tuesday on my channel 🎣
The dingle dangle works very very good, that is all we use in South Africa for rock and surf fishing. U get use to it and it takes us 2 - 3 minutes quick quick Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hate to tells guys but I've been using half a wine bottle cork for 45 years drill a hole , soak em in fish oil , use a bottom sinker , side mount leader , put the cork above the hook, and happy days
I'm from South A. I also fish with foam around the shank of the hook. Mostly because of the size of mouth of some of the target species here in Perth. Dangle is good for flathead and mulloway. The foam around the shank good for tailor, snapper, skippy etc. Give form to the bait but also lift it. I tie it with the bait string also from vexed.
Yes, it makes a lot of sense to have the hook at the bottom. How would you attach the cork? Just lay the hook on the cork, tip sticking out the bottom and use Floss to attach it?
@@bertlindsay Drill a hole through the centre of two corks, tape / glue the large ends together and before tying the hook pass the line through the holes in the corks.
Nice video! The right one to understand the technique. I love the pulley system. That’s avoid you to be precise when rigging the sinker coz the length it’s adjusting on its own. I try to buy this product on your website but everything it’s sold out 😓
Thank you for the video. Subject to the bait sandwich size (weight) the float does not have buoyancy all the time. I made my own dangle and have noted such. Cocktail bait is the culprit for been oversize in weight if pack full. Another good method is the clip-down system with a small condom. This allows you to cast off the ground.
the pully rig you just called out is called a running trace. im from south africa. we put anything on a dingle dangle , kob/kabeljou (silver ghost fish) like them
Hi im South African here in sa we make our own we put small glass rattles in them when fishing for cob... We also make glow in the dark dangles... Hope this helps...

Thanks for watching!
Great advise... love your work, just ordered them
Surf beaches in the UK are the same too and we use that rig for cod, ray, tope and other toothed predators.

An old idea we use bottle corks to achieve the same type of rig, used this type of rig years ago.Put the float above the hook way better.
No way that's a good idea 👍 I'll try that

Whats a "small" condom?😲
Can you put a bottom hook on float so 2 hooks both ends

Looking forward to giving them a whirl along WA's mid north coast in the coming weeks.
They work well, good Luck with the fishing!
I love this new innovation. As an ex pat Saffa the concept is familiar but this is next level. Where can I buy them in Melbourne Victoria?

Rattle and glow sounds like a good idea!
Love these. Just stated using them and haven’t got a shit fish in last 4 trips.
Thats pretty bloody informative boys cheers
What does that foam do for the digestive tract of the fish that consume the bait and do not get hooked?

Need an underwater shot of it in action lads
Yes will have to try attempt it next time!
yeah mate! SA dingle dangle doing its thaaang
Hey mate
Can you used the dingle dangle on a snelled rig?
Yes you can
Thank you
If only some type of floating device to choose where in the water column your bait sat already existed…..🤔
if only you realised that when you use a float in the surf your rig washes up on shore and gets tangled
@@thataustralian4078It's called a stem float, literally one of their main uses.

You need to build a choka bait around it. If you want to consistently land a Mulloway you need to spend time on proper bait presentation.
Imagine if you could actually buy them anywhere
