Really appreciate this video, with covid around many anglers are feeling the pinch and we really can't afford to buy some of these devices for fishing, really learnt alot about how I can make them at home and also thinking of ideas of how I can modify the dangle, like tying a glow stick around the flotation for early morning or evening fishing for kob. Thanks
Good day Ray, I have watched the video and I would like to know if you use superglue on the soft dangle? Their is a section where you pull the dacron through the middle to create a loop for the hook without a knot.
He did not use any superglue in the video,I dont know if he used it afterwards. Time is 26:11, the reason why I'm asking is because the tag end pulled through the middle to make the loop for the hook is not secured with a knot.
Hi from Australia. I'm just getting into this long distance casting thing. I already use 7/0 circle hooks with a big salted strip bait pinned lightly and wrapped with elastic. Is there any reason I can't use 30lb mono or 50lb Dacron using knots?? Why 150lb?? I only fish for edibles with 20-30 lb braid main line and coffee grinder, 5 oz lead . I have the hook end and ring end knots sorted.
@@TheKingfisherFishing hahaha not a problem with the tune, it’s too loud. I don’t think you need background music when doing an educational tutorial, just my opinion 👍
@@nicomyburg4678 ah too loud you say. What about some beach sounds in the background? We film in a busy shop so some music or beach sounds help drown out the busy shop sounds. Thanks for your feedback 👌🏼
Very nice 👌 Ray !
Have nice day.
👍
A Masterclass, thanks Ray : )

I like your glow stick idea, very smart!
Awesome
Any chance you guys can do a black steenbras bait demo and trace ?
Sounds like a plan Joshua, where about in SA are you targeting them?
Those black Musselcrackers are powerful fish!
The silver Musselcrackers too!
Very good information. Thank you
Great 🎣🎣💯

At what time in the video did you see that? If I recall he didn't use superglue, but I will watch it to be sure.

Yes you absolutely can use a lighter dacron or mono. 30lb mono might be a little light though.
Have you stopped selling these bait float dangles
Everything is excellent except for that music in the background
Thank you for your comment Nico, would you mind sharing a link to the type of music you would prefer to hear? We always appreciate your feedback.

Can I use a dangle with a J Hook ?
You can but it’s not ideal, you will get a better hook up with the circle hook.
