    So far the best review on the Ryker! Thanks brother ! Me and the wife are looking into buying a Ryker Sport soon. I currently own a 2005 Hayabusa and a 2019 Harley Road Glide. The wife is digging the 3 wheeler and a happy wife means a happy life . A Ryker might soon find a new home in our garage 👍

      Awesome Rich!! Thanks for the kind words. I am also coming off a Hayabusa and have owned a few Harleys as well. Had an unfortunate Busa vs moose incident 2 years ago but lucky enough to ride another day. My wife is also digging 3 wheels. Good luck with the new purchase and hope you and the mrs get to enjoy riding together. Cheers 🍻

    I've had my Ryker Sport now for about a month (new rider) and I've already put about 700 miles on it. Love it! Always look forward to riding in. Love the rims that come with it. This Ryker gets lots of looks and compliments. Neighborhood kids call it the batman bike lol

    Your review was spot on! I have a 2021 Rally and I really like it. So many reviews out there are more about pimping out the bike rather than what’s really like to drive one.

    I just signed up for the MSF class next month and have never rode. After all the research this seems like the safest option for me to ride with friends who have all been trying to get me to get a bike. Your review does give me a better idea with what model I may end up getting.

    A bicycle has two wheels, a tricycle has three wheels, they are both cycles. Same applies when you add a motor to your cycle. A two wheel motorcycle is called a motor-bike and a three wheeled motorcycle is called a motor-trike, but they are both motorcycles. And they are both fun to ride. That's my take on this whole "that's not a motorcycle cuz three wheels" debate. Ride what ya like, have fun and stay safe!

    It's a trike plain and simple, not a reverse trike, simply a trike. Trike = 3 wheels, Motorcycle = 2 wheels. No matter what the government says this is not a motorcycle. Is it fun? OH HECK YEAH! It's just a different kind of fun. Almost no learning curve to riding a Ryker at normal speeds. Pressing opposite leg into foot peg makes aggressive turns a piece of cake. Never having to worry about stopping and accelerating on wet surfaces is priceless. Also a little sand or rocks in road during tight turn is way less likely to ruin your day.😀

    Great review! And music (I listen to all these artists.)
    I had a question about the cruise control on the sport. when you throttle up to say 35 miles an hour and you wanna lock in the cruise control, do you just press the button once and then you’re locked in?
    What takes you out of cruise control? throttling up more? Braking?

    • @canuckpowersports
      @canuckpowersports  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the kind words 🤘🏽 Pressing the cruise control button will enable cruise control. Press again to set once you’re at your desired speed.
      To take it out of cruise you can either press the button to disengage cruise or hit the brake pedal.
      You will need to reset once back to your desired speed if cruise has been disengaged. Hope this helps

If you can’t find a 2022 or a used one maybe talk to your local dealership about getting on a list? I ordered mine shortly after the New Year and took delivery in May. • @canuckpowersports
      @canuckpowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As a first bike, the Ryker would be a great option. If you’re looking to keep within a cheaper budget a used 600 may be the route to go. I’ve found that insurance is reasonable compared to getting on a sport bike for instance as a new rider. I enjoy riding open roads but that is just my preference. Or should I go up 1 to the f3. Yes price is a thing because Id also like some lee way for upgrades.. sorry but I really need some help choosing.. I dont want to look weird on a small bike. I am the same build and it fits me fine. Having the adjustability in the pegs and bars helps. You’ll be ok on the Ryker 🤙🏽 2up could be tight but still doable. If planning on doing a lot of 2 up riding I would step up to a bigger bike IMO. If just running around town with a passenger, you’ll be fine. Go with the 900. You’ll be glad that you did.

    • @RobertSmith-zt2il
      @RobertSmith-zt2il 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Errands to town or 2 up for an hour ride, Ryker 900 (payload approx. 400 lbs) will be fine. If you want more than these, checkout the Spyder F3s (the cheaperr Spyder) Also, if you're thinking of the Ryker 900, research all the add-ons to get for your needs. Before you know it, you'll be approaching the Spyder F3 entry level cost. e.g.: adding a passenger seat with backrest to the Ryker and upgrading your sway bar will already set you back 500 to 600 dollars. It's easy to get carried 1000s $ away with the options the Ryker has, talking about a friend. LOL. May you find your "ride".

      Yes it most definitely would be a great starter bike. There are only 2 things needed to operate the bike. The throttle which is your right hand and the brake pedal which is operated by your right foot. The benefits of the Ryker are… not having to hold the bike up when stopped, no shifting gears and not having to worry about sliding out if you hit sand in a corner. More of your riding is focused on what is on the road and you’re not having to worry about all the little things as a new rider. Good luck with your purchase whichever way you choose to go. It is like anything else I suppose. All depends on what type of ride you’re looking for. I have altered or changed the suspension components on pretty much every toy that I’ve owned. If looking to cruise around town or don’t ride aggressively, stock form will suit you well. If you are looking to push the bike harder, then upgrades are almost always necessary. Can-Am did do what they could to make the Ryker suitable for “most riders” by adding adjustability to pegs, handlebars, windshields etc.
      I set up my vehicles for how I ride. With that being said… I’ve had buddies jump on my bike or snowmobile and they hate how it’s set up because it is dialled in for my riding style. To each their own 🤷🏻
