Is there a video of someone installing one of their "kits" going from a C4 to T5? I am very interested in doing the swap, but want more information. Specifically about installing the physical pedal itself and how to run the clutch cable?
If the bell housing alignment is off… I understand need offset dowels. But how do you get them out? If the angle is off, how do you correct that? Also, is a clutch fork cover needed? Anyway good timing on this as I’m in the middle of adding an MDL TREMEC TKX to my 69 mustang with an FMX auto trans…. Thanks for making this!!!!
@@rickycarroll1990 I’m currently switching out my FMX automatic for the TKX in my 69 Mustang Mach 1. I’ve been posting progress photos on my Instagram account @cornett3514
@@mattcornett7180 Ok i have a 68 cougar, c4 to t5 swap, i was worried about how the slave bolted, but with this new video from MDL and Talking to Brett, i finally drill my holes in my bellhousing today
@@rickycarroll1990 ironically on the TKX one of those bolts prevents the transmission from bolting up. This is unique to the TKX though…. Always a good idea to test fit everything. MDL has the solution for my application and sent me another bolt that will countersink into the bellhousing. Nothing is ever perfect and that is part of the fun of modifying these cars.
I would also like to see a 1965 Mustang 4 speed to Tremec TKX 5 speed conversion!

adding U to my playlist too
Are you guys using a deep pressure plate due to the lack of a quadrant? The foxbody bellhousing is deeper.
Are there any solutions for the early 5 bolt bellhousing/blocks? I have a 64.5 260 Stang. It was originally a 3 speed manual.
