Do you have a wiring diagram to install a relay for the NSS on a TKX? I’ve read it’s required but can’t find how to go it?
Thanks Paul very helpful!
how do you think the TR4050 would hold up to drag racing in a truck with 500-1000hp
We don't recommend it this transmission is rated up to 600 lb - ft.
@@ModernDrivelineInc Thanks for the input!!! do you have suggestions, im doing a 4wd/Awd stick shift setup, i understand its not really been done, but rock crawlers n sled pullers use em but im not to familiar with em, do you got any suggestions an a transmission that would hold up? im not doing any serious dragging, but i will drag it from time to time, ill def have a slipper clutch if i run any kind of slicks/radials
We have a a couple of questions regarding slip yokes so here is what we recommend. T-5 Front Shift Tail Housing Warning / Note / Update Since COVID-19 there have been some aftermarket slip yokes that are offered that are made incorrectly. The incorrectly made slip yokes will be 28-spline but measure 1.500" or larger. This tail housing, the Ford 28-spline T-5, and the aftermarket Tremec T-5 all use a 28-spline slip yoke that measures 1.498" MAXIMUM on the tube diameter. The bushing inner diameter is 1.500". All of the noted tail housings have the bushings installed THEN reamed to size. To compare, the GM 27-spline slip yoke has a 1.500-1.502" tube diameter and the bushing inside diameter in the tail housing is 1.503". So if you run across a slip yoke that does not fit by application... return it.
Can a camaro tail housing and top cover work on the mustang T-5. On my Mustang ll, I need the shifter location to be further back about 1.5 inches
Hello, Thank you for your question regarding the Camaro Tail & cover the answer is, Yes but not advised. The speedometer hole is not in the correct location for the Ford main shaft. The slip yoke for the ford main shaft is 0.003" smaller in diameter so it fits loose in the Camaro tail housing. You are better off getting an offset shifter for the Ford T-5 tail housing. We offer them: You searched for MD-88-421-234-03 - Modern Driveline or You searched for MD-88-421-244-03 - Modern Driveline We also offer crossmembers and adaptation for the front (adapters, longer input shafts, extended pilot bushings). Let us kow what you have.
Your Web site link is Misspelled
Thank you, we appreciate your input we have corrected it :) have a good day
What happens when the clutch doesn’t want to return, it goes out and just snaps to the firewall and never comes back…
Did you remove the spring from the clutch pedal?
@@ModernDrivelineInc Yeah I called in this morning and was told to do that to the helper spring so I removed it. Thank you.

1967 Chevelle SS
The package highlighted in this video fits 1964 to 1967 Chevelles and GM A-bodies we have a different package for 1968 to 1972 A-bodies.
I will be ordering this part, but I also need the motor mount system for fox body 5.0, 302 , to adapt to a 66 mustang with prior 6 cylinder convertible. Do you have such a thing.
Unfortunately, we do not carry motor mounts I would try Summit or Jegs
Man I appreciate it . I was not sure what was wrong . But that worked for me z thank you
Looks like your struggling
Why didn’t you fit the slip yoke on your housing?
this was a Ford to Ford example and will fit without question, there was no need to show it. If you are fitting a different combination then we can discuss your application, give us a call if you need to 208-453-9800
Do u make tailshaft housing for S10 mechanical ... video showed for Ford if so how much...have a damage one

Greetings I am in the process of purchasing the Tremec TKX Manual Transmission for my Ford Mustang 1992 LX with an LS swap Engine . I have noticed that there are two types of TKX Transmissions available GM or Ford. I want to make sure I choose the right one that does not require cutting the floor for installation. Additionally, I have seen that there is an LS bellhousing option. Could you please advise me on which specific type I should purchase for my vehicle? GM or Ford ?
Hello, please call us at 208-453-9800 we would be happy to help you answer any questions you have
We have 2 TKX transmission, had no luck with them. First gear seems weak. Both had broken gears, 1 was in a 1969 firebird the other a 1994 mustang.
This is concerning, please call us at 208-453-9800 and we would be happy to help you with these challenges.
Do you have a website of phone number where i can email you guys or call you
Will the TKX fit in GMH ! General Motors Holden 1968 -1972 Holden monaro or the South Africacan Chevrolet ss thank you
can you get a corvette style one of these? c5/6
Hey Thanks for watching and the question regarding vetts, The C5 & C6 corvettes are transaxle cars and we do not have parts to support those.
Will this kit work on a coyote swapped new edge ?
No it is specifically engineered to work with the SN95 Mustang
I don't see why it wouldn't. Unless there's clearance issues with the Scram pedal assembly if you're using the Coyotes electronic throttle pedal. I am considering this very same upgrade.
I want a 5 speed with a .5 or .4 overdrive like the TR6070
Call us and discuss your build to see what we might help you with 208-453-9800
Do you top off the reservoir before using the syringe or will one syringe fill the system from dry?
Hello Don, One syringe holds enough to fill it twice, we do this to ensure all of the air bubbles are pushed out. so no need to pre-fill the reservoir.
🤥
Nicely demonstrated Paul.
just had to do that to the one i recieved, i cant really see how shipping can cause that, if it was slammed down that hard it would break something, anyway the video just saved it from being shipped back.

Do you have a kit for the flathead Ford 6's?

Glad it was helpful!
Very original you guys are impressive
great footage and beautiful morning
Many thanks!
waiting on next one📍
John, you did a beautiful build on that Mustang; it looks fantastic, and must be a blast to drive. Your reference and recommendation of MDL in partnership on the driveline installation is confidence inspiring; and I look forward to partnering with them on my '67 coupe "mild" driver set up.
What brake booster did you use?
Factory brake booster like Bendex or Midland.
Where is the video
The owner of the car passed away shortly have the video was started. He never got a change to drive the car.
why didnt you dial in the bell?
Nice
Thank you James for your excellent work!! Also thank you modern driveline for having this in stock and shipping it the day after we ordered it.
You are very welcome.
Does this work with models with a vacuum booster? I feel it's more common to engine swap v6 vehicles and we just happen to have the vacuum operated booster
Yes is works with all know vacuum SN95 brake boosters as well has the hydro boost.
I noticed a Nut at the top that drives the Piston Shaft to the Master Cylinder. Is this adjustable for making fine adjustments on the clutch peddle? I have this system for my SN95 and my clutch engages to quickly from the floor coming out. Want the clutch to engage a little further out with the peddle. Will adjusting the top Nut at the Piston do this? Can it be screwed in or out for micro adjustments to the peddle feel? Adjusting the shaft length?
the push rod nut you are referring to is adjusted to fixed number of 1.4" Changing this will only decrease the push rod travel which in turn lower the clutch pedal engagement closer to the floor. Clutch engagement is a factory of the clutch pressure plate and disk. Some clutches released fast some are slower. If you are using our external slave cylinder, the fork should traveling ~1.2" Internal HRB is about 7/16" Always good to check the condition of the cross shaft and pivot bushings.
@@brucecouturemdl Bruce, I had an issue with the assembly working fine for about 2 weeks. Then suddenly the car wouldn't go into gear. I just bled the fluid again and now it barely goes into gear but some adjustment is needed to make the shifting smoother and not bind. Anything you think I should check or is this a "set it and forget it" setup? Didn't know if there was a way to make small adjustments. I still can't get the car in reverse but 1st through 6th goes into gear but binds. Still difficult to put into gear. I don't know where to start to look for the issue. I may buy a completely new unit and re-install. I just can't figure out why it was workin perfectly for 2 weeks and then after driving down the road it left me stranded because it suddenly wouldn't go into gear. I've checked everything and nothing is leaking or showing any wear.
Hey man I’m having the same issue right now. Did you ever figure it out?
@@BaileyBynum-g4o i just bought a totally new hydraulic clutch system from another manufacturer. I had 2 Ford techs try to make this one work and no success. This clutch was ordered and installed during covid and worked 2 weeks and then suddenly didn't. We checked everything and I paid a professional foxbody master mechanic to try to fix it. He's done thousands and said something wad wrong with the unit and recommended another product that he says works better and doesn't have issue. The pedal and linkage assembly gets loose over time and just enough to cause the clutch to no engage. It was removed, checked and reinstalled per instructions carefully with no success. So I paid for a new product and scheduled to have it installed at the end of this month. 1500 bucks down the tube.
@@StageShout thank you buddy, going to try and diagnose mine later.
