This song was released in 1966. When you can make 3 generations of women weak in the knees you have done something very right.

Bill & Bobby were a perfect vocal pairing. RIP Bobby.

They were definitely dreamy with Bill Medley's eyes the color of the Pacific Ocean and Bobby Hatfield's like a freshly filled swimming pool. Listening to them sing and not being able to climb out of their eyes put me in a different world.

I remember when this came out. First song I ever heard by the Righteous Brothers was this one, on the radio. Great song, great reaction! Thanks, and God bless you!

Songwriting and arrangement top notch - it's real music with genuine feeling sung with real vocals - the way it used to be.

"I Just Want to Make Love to You" ,"Summertime" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Ebb Tide". I will note that Elvis' favorite singer Roy Hamilton had big hits with several of these songs ten years earlier. Roy was a black man with an Operatic Voice who had a bunch of hits in the mid Fifties and one of the most successful black artists of that time period, although mostly forgotten today.

Back in the day, these two were the music you played on your 8-track to get "that girl" to loosen up on a date.

Tasha.... My parents were HUGE Righteous Brothers fans. So my sister and I got to hear a lot of them in 1966

I was 6 when this played on the radio and it still hits all the right notes. I still remember the words. Timeless. 😁💖

You've covered their three biggest earlier hits. "Rock and Roll Heaven" was their biggest hit from a decade later.

Great choice, the Righteous Brothers never disappoint either as a duo or individually. More very good songs by them: Just once in my Life, Little Latin Lupe Lu, The Nighttime is the Right Time and more. Bill did a fantastic song with the Blossoms (Darlene Love). Entitled Brown Eyed Woman in 68
    At the Playboy Club(family viewing)

This song and “Unchained Melody” are my two most favorite songs of all time!!! Been enjoying this pair since they began and I could hear music!!! And, you’re right Tasha. They are clean cut (they called that hair ‘slicked back back then) like a lot of the musicians of that time period and before. Great reaction Tasha 👩🏻‍🏫👵🏻👏🏻🥰‼️

More great music by blue-eyed soul artists: George Michael “Careless Whisper”, Michael Bolton “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You “, Bobby Caldwell “What You Won’t Do For Love”, Elvis Presley “Trying to Get to You”, Duffy “Mercy” & Tom Jones “I’ll Never Love Again”.
