I can't say that men don't love anymore, because that's not true. What I can say is that there was never anybody like the Righteous Brothers before, and there never will be again. Two true originals, who can make me weep with joy on command.
I realize this is an older reaction video and that you probably won't even see what I am writing. I have seen and enjoyed many of your reaction....and of course I know that you are a lovely and caring woman who has a heart of gold. But sometimes the obvious must be said about you as well and it is this : You are a stunningly beautiful woman!
I have never claimed to know a lot, but two things I know for certain.... You can never go wrong listening to a Righteous Brothers song, and You can never go wrong watching Empress Joy-Jean reaction videos. Both are OUTSTANDING!!!
I was 12 yrs old back then My Debbie Fischer was my Girl we were young but then Kids more or less but she always was a big part of my life I am 72 now and I miss her still remember her today
You got two of the greatest vocalists who ever lived. The musical arrangement is beautiful, unbeatable and a stroke of genius by Bill Medley. Then you have the best girl group of all time, the Blossoms singing in the background. It just can’t get any better than this.
“The Righteous Brothers” are considered by most to be the Greatest Male Vocal Duet Of All Time. I agree. Between Bill Medley’s Lows and Bobby Hatfield’s Highs they can hit every note on an 88 key piano. No other male singers can do that. Legendary. “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” was the most played song on radio in the 20th Century. "Unchained Melody" - Bobby Hatfield Live 1965. Considered by most as The Greatest Live Male Vocal Performance In History... I agree. Bobby's use of "Runs" is brilliant. He is the master of the technique and started the trend. 7 notes just to say the word "I".... Their name came when they did a show in a smaller venue and a black man told them…. You two Brothers are Righteous. They created the sound and set the table that all Soul Music fed from for decades to come. In 1983, in Newport Beach O.C. Calif. Bill and Bobby at the Jolly Roger Restaurant . I was 13 feet away for... "Unchained Melody"- "You've Lost That Lovin’ Feelin‘" - "Soul And Inspiration".... They were perfect, awesome, amazing, incredible......
Loved your reaction to this legendary song sung by two of the greats. I enjoyed watching and spending a few minutes with you and the Righteous Brothers!
Your reaction to this video was priceless and when you said, "I love you", that was a beautiful reaction. Swetie you are gorgeous and deserve a man in your life that will make you feel like an Empress Queen, meaning every word he says to you and if he doesn't then you let me know and I will kick him to the street for you. 😁❤
Both of them sang movie themes alone. Bobby Hatfield sang EBB TIDE and Bill Medley sang the theme for the movie DIRTY DANCING. HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE was a hit song and the movie was a box office success.
I love your reactions! Male or female, whether you imagine singing this to someone or having it sung to you, the Righteous Brothers never fail to pierce an arrow right through the heart, and you show that feeling every time. I also find pausing these guys (some reactors every 2 freaking seconds) downright criminal-- you don't do that at all. I guess what I love most of all that you listen and really hear them, and soak up every word, every note. Bravo, Empress!
Back when this song was recorded the man had the daunting task of trying to court a woman. Most guys weren't Righteous Brothers. There can be heartbreak, humiliation and pain. But when he finally captured ta woman's heart, it was all worth it . The Righteous Brothers were the voice of the everyman of that day. I would've loved an opposite intro dissolve. Transforming today's in color E J-J back in time to 1966 in black and white as the RB's do their thing. Dissolved back to color as Bill starts his vocal. You'd fit right in, no matter year. RNB
The DYNAMIC DUO did it again, spectacular! May be the best in music history. Tho there's Everly Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel. Tho there doesn't have to be persay the "best". I can't forget Hall and Oates.
Legends forever. There has never been a better duo. None even close. I was raised up listening to this kind of music. I am lucky to have lived in that era.
Great reaction gorgeous! You’ll find that guy that speaks with those loving, romantic, terms! Don’t settle until you do. You deserve it,,,, find it! ❤️✌️
I'm an old guy. I was a teenager when this song came out (and slow-danced danced many times to it). The songs of that time were not the silliness of the 50s (think "Pretty Little Angel Eyes," for example), and they weren't the woman-degrading or crude song lyrics some artists produce in 2021. If you like either of those, fine. But if I (or many ladies, I think) want to hear a love song, or I want to woo a lady, I would look to the 60s or 70s - like anything from the Righteous Brothers, perhaps the Beach Boys (think "God only Knows," "Surfer Girl"), perhaps Simon and Garfunkel (think "Bridge Over Troubled Waters"), the Bee Gees (like "Too Much Heaven"), and so on. Music should celebrate many things in any given age. Sadly, artists seem to have forgotten romance in contemporary music, as a theme worth celebrating. IMO, that's sad.
They were short because of the AM radio. Three minutes was a maximum that they would play. So artists would write their songs and if an album version was longer they cut it down for the radio to get air play. Was just a fact of life in the 60's and early 70's. It took a while for them to break that mold. Peace and Love dear. btw Love the black hair down look. Stunningly beautiful. I know it takes a lot of work to keep that look.
You are listening to One of the best duo's to ever come along.Bobny Hatfield is the tenor of the Righteous Bros and Bill Melody was the baritone. Their voices shouldn't have blended together but they did and they were magic. They were inducted into the ROCK and ROLL HALL OF FAME in 2003 unfortunately Bobby passed away a few months after. Bill Melody still sings and performs today
From the first notes of the band, I knew this was going to be a heart breaker. The ladies singing back up at the ending sound like angels. This is so perfect. "Youre my reason for laughing, for crying, for living and for dying". Oh, my god !
Yes!!!! It's about time! I've been waiting for you to react to this song. I love your channel. You're so sincere and really love music. It's such a joy to watch. Have you reacted to Pentatonix yet? They're an amazing accapella group. Start with The Sound of Silence. It's not as harsh as Disturb's version. Each member of the group have amazing voices. I hope you do react to them soon. Thank you for creating this channel and spreading joy.
I am a 74 years old man and I tell !y wife all the time!!!
Pure talent. When men were not afraid to tell women exactly how they felt about them.
You are right, men used to say sweet things to thier women
How can any woman resist either of these two men?
Ahhh, back in the good ole days when men and women valued each other.
Before there was toxic masculinity there was just masculinity! The world needs more of it!
People listening to rap. They have no idea of what's been there forever. Real music.
I can't say that men don't love anymore, because that's not true. What I can say is that there was never anybody like the Righteous Brothers before, and there never will be again. Two true originals, who can make me weep with joy on command.
Blue-eyed soul at its finest.
Bill medley and Bobbie Hatfield Legends
I can easily forget Hall and Oates

Awww🙈
Thank you so much Asmahdan 😊
I agree!!!!
Everything about this shouts 'Class, Class, Class!'.
No-one could sell a love song like these two.
I didn’t know that Bobby could blow me out of the water again but yes he just did x
You really are a beautiful young lady I can’t say it enough
I love them. No one can sing like them.
I was 12 yrs old back then My Debbie Fischer was my Girl we were young but then Kids more or less but she always was a big part of my life I am 72 now and I miss her still remember her today
They're definitely Righteous for a reason..

And very wonderful song and a very wonderful true to heart wonderful wonderful review
This was when women were feminine, beautiful, and worth being cherished by men.
American men were a different breed back then! They were stylish and respected their women!
Beautiful emotional reaction to this wonderful performance
You are so lovely and real. Peace & Love 💕
How beautiful !!
It's okay Baby go ahead and cry! Many women did and some men too.
Both of them sang movie themes alone. Bobby Hatfield sang EBB TIDE and Bill Medley sang the theme for the movie DIRTY DANCING. HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE was a hit song and the movie was a box office success.
Don't forget that Bobby's solo of Unchained Melody was used for the famous pottery scene in the movie Ghost.
Great Reaction 😀

Yep. Winning a woman was tough work. Rewarding but tough.
I enjoyed your reaction! They are exceptional singers and I could listen to them all day long.
remember when this song came out
Just EPIC for 50 years!😃
I tell my love sweet words full of meaning and truth regularly. I wish I could sing them with the kind of emotional power these men did.
The DYNAMIC DUO did it again, spectacular! May be the best in music history. Tho there's Everly Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel. Tho there doesn't have to be persay the "best". I can't forget Hall and Oates.

Their voices are great but so different from one another. When they harmonize it's simply amazing.
A song full of love and passion.

Yes, we do say and mean those things. Women react like there is something wrong with us when we do.
Maybe we have to sing them in beautiful voices like Bill and Bobby. In other words most of us are SOL.
Beautiful.....❤
Spring of 1966-------------------RIP, Bobby Hatfield------------------they were one of a kind.
