- The Charger Hellcat is taken to the next level by Dodge for 2021 with the Redeye. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged V8 pumping out 797HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic. This is not a car. It’s a work of modern art.
Imagine this much power in a BMW or a Benz, would be close to 200K.
81K for this much power is a steal.
And Imagine the Quality and Control of the BMW/Benz.
If the Hell cat had that much quality it would also be 200k.
I would rather drive a 50k BMW, then a shitty ass American car with 2006 Interior LOL.
The hellcat and demon lose almost on every race though vs AWD cars ....the design is so bad you can't put down 700 plus horsepower properly and always spins out unfortunately you need a prepped surface with drag radials to make use of that power
@@blackice214 Most people that buy Chargers have small dick and need to compensate. Imagine being in 2021, and telling people you have a 700Hp car to drive in the city, while the interior looks like straight from 2008.

As I started watching this,my neighbor just started his Charger Scat Pack,and I gotta say,it's one thing to hear that over my earbuds,it's quite another thing to hear that engine up close and personal.
This guy is on the spot, I definitely don’t care about the trunk or rear seat space in a hellcat. Hold on tight and brace yourself!

Great in-depth review. One thing I'll say about the air filter is it needs a box to keep it separated from the hot air in the engine compartment and only sucking in the cool air from outside.

The engine compartment is a work of art. Finally all the right touches on all the components. I'd call this 'World Class' and looks better than ANY exotic, imho.
The exterior color should be 'Screaming Orange' with a massive flame job on the sides...

Love the car and wrap. I agree with your comments on the squared off top by the rear window and the red stripes in the solid black area. With the Hurst shifter, you lose the stock shifter which has the gear indicator. Is there a secondary indicator on the dash in the gauge cluster?

Not a fan of the aesthetic mods but I love my 21 redeye charger widebody... significant upgrade from the 18 normal charger hellcat I had.
That is a pristine car!!! Wish the hellcat badge on the front was offset to the driver's side of the grille though.

Under the hood is beautiful! I thought the super charger whine (11:24) was a cop's siren behind you! LOL! The interior is very nice. It's a sensible streetable hot rod. "On throttle! (Joe double checking rear view mirror 17:44 ). Looks like a fun ride. Get the weight down and lose 1000 lbs, and you may have an unbeatable machine with some handling mods. I like it.
Hellcats are great even when stock MOPAR OR NO CAR .
At this point I'm loving and enjoying my Challenger R/T such a great daily driver

Shout out to all involved. I am not a muscle car guy but you might have changed my mind with this video. I was laughing so hard when you pushed it. I wish I was driving. I did rent a charger when my car was in the shop, I pushed it too. It was a lower end model a few years ago. I had fun in that car. Hated to turn it in. :-)

everything is A1 mod wise, but i do agree with you the side graphics should have ended on the top of the quarter panel not the c-pillar and the stripes should have continued on the the trunk, and they should have to it to make the 797hp to the wheels as the factory rating is take at the crank.
