@@tleutvy Okay! Thank you so much. That helped me a lot. I am also planning to give the IELTS by the end of this month. And how was the reading? I mean is it tough or normal? And I'm preparing the ielts by the book named "THE OFFICIAL CAMBRIDGE GUIDE TO IELTS" Is it fair enough to practice from this book. And yeah thanks again.
Recently I gave my IELTS exam in dec 2022 and believe me without any prior preparation, and I manage to crack IELTS by just 3 days study only. My IELTS cumulative band is 7.5 (computer mode) Due to my other academics commitment, I didn't get much time for my preparation and had a semester and competitive exam also. So I started my IELTS preparation just 3 days before the exam. Having done my academics in English language really helps me to understand the logarithms of exam fast. Listening (7) - Before exam I was sure about that listening and reading is my strong hold. But during exam I missed 3 lines that carries the answer, so this is the reason i got 7 here. Please listen to carefully and don't try to recall answer in the middle of the voice, if you don't get any answer, move to next question, don't think in between as my two consecutive questions were missed thinking about the answers. Reading (8.5) - as this was my strong hold and time given is 60 mins for 3 comprehension, so just ratify your answer again n again. Try to question yourself that the selected answer is right or wrong. Writing (7) - As I'm a researcher so it's pretty easy for me to write about the topics. Main crust is about how you conceptualize and how to present it. In the 2nd part of writing, I wrote close to 400 words against the prescribed word limit (250-300), which really scares me till i got the result. Thinking If i could omit some lines, but 7 in writing is well accepted. Speaking (6.5) - here comes the main challenge, as a person whose first language is not english, this area is most difficult. I am good in speaking, my confidence is always high, i brought new ideas, also my accent is good, but the main problem is that i used to repeat some of the lines during the speaking, which really affects my flow. But during these 3 days i lay more stress in speaking and hence manage to get 6.5. I also believe that for someone who have taken their academics in English language, one or two week is more than enough for you to crack the IELTS. Anyway, I'm happy with my score as the requirements for application is 6.5, for which i have scored much better band.

I took my exam few days ago in Sheffield, the examiner was so nice and actively responded to what I said, nodding and smiling, she’s just very sweet, but this to some extent makes me focus on her facial expression and cannot pay strong attention to my accuracy...my brain cannot work all of these simultaneously...cognitive factors, so I made a lot of grammar mistakes which makes me feel regretful. My exam is today. I pray it goes well😊
how did it go?
My speaking test is tomorrow, wish me a good luck!
The topics are all new, what I have prepared and practiced almost haven’t been tested.
I know I could have done better, but it’s true I am still not good enough QAQ。
Hi Hedya, thank you for sharing your feedback! I sincerely hope you'll still get the required score. Could you please share some of the unexpected or difficult questions? It would be so helpful
@@FasTrackIELTS Hi! Asia, thank you for replying me!~(≧▽≦)/ Those topics might just be new for me.
Part 3 talked about happiness - what makes children happy?/what makes children and adult happy?/what’s the difference between children and adult’s happiness?/ describing change- like how do the way people feel happy change? happy vs money - which is more important? ...
Part 2 Describe a person you’re happy to know. Not very difficult, though I still repeated myself a bit...
Part 1 is fine, I haven’t practiced some of the topics but I answered fluently. Do you prefer to listen or speak? Do you often change your opinion? (What do people always talk about now- about topic I remember )/Borrow-book&money&mobile phone/
These are what I can remember, I am not pretty sure the original questions but I try to express them QuQ.
I want to share with you my first ielts speaking exam, the first question the examiner asked was ‘ Are you living at the moment?’ I really had no idea how to answer it at that moment...but now I know what does it mean.
@@hedya3041 what does ( are you living this moment mean)?
@@Adam-oo2fj I think it means “do you treasure the current moment” or “ do you cherish the time”
Really that all topics very rare
