Trumpeter Swan K43 from Washington State Visits Vancouver Island December, 2023

Among approximately 100 swans in a farm field near Nanaimo was a banded swan K43. According to the number on the band , this is a rehabilitated swan who was banded in Washington State after being rescued and treated for lead poisoning.
