Had stopped playing at some point. (Founder and bèta player) This video convinced me to go back to swtor. Also what helps is me being an old ultima online player haha. Swtor and UO is an ultimate mix.
Honestly for as much content you get for FREE is great in its itself and the story and immersion given alone is well worth it
100% agree and if you're a Star Wars fan as well it's really a no-brainer to try it out
I just started playing this game and im having a ton of fun. Im doing the Sith Warrior story and going full on Vader just killing all who oppose me. It's been great and i love that this game has legit cutscenes and voice acting. It's very unique as far as mmo's go. If you're a star wars fan and like a good story then i recommend it. It's free to play anyways!
I was looking for a guide for the best tank in star wars and saw your name on the video... It didnt matter what it was about. than i read the name after i clicked...I do a fair amount of trials in Eso Tanking.. and well you were the one who pointed me in the right direction for and so Well done man! if i had a single reservation playing it its gone now.

to be fair we need a new star wars mmo, like many franchises that need mmos we just arent getting good mmos anymore.
I would like more of an action mmorpg like DCUO style I just now started playing SWTOR in enjoying it but still new to keyboard and mouse

For someone who played this game a lot from 2012-2017, is it worth to return to the game? (Played through every single class story)
One of the biggest strengths of the game from my new player perspective was the story. Once you finish the story theres still plenty to do but you suddenly lose the best part of the game.
You have the Flashpoints and Operations but it depends how motivated you are to run the endgame content or not. The FPs are kinda fun and simple enough to do. Operations are like raids and they are fun but you'll want to get back in and make sure you're geared and stuff before going into those!
one of the best star wars games ever made. if you like star wars you have to play it.

There's a lot of content to play through even as a free player, it's always worth a try because you have nothing to lose
The leveling is the game. Skip any xp boost.

ah so dlc arent free and you need a subscription shame, dcuo used to do that but then it went all free
Once you subscribe for one month, you get permanent access to all expansions available at that point (and the current maximum level), even if you stop subscribing.
The 0 to 60 game, ie. the character stories, are great. Game loses something after that.
I cant take anybody serious who doesnt hide his own nameplate. How can you enjoy any game with that?
