That is not really prime radahn that isn't even his body, he did lose a good part of his overwelming power, in his prime he could hold the stars, that an insane feat.
Holding stars is not that scary. What's worse, Radahn was able to pull them down. Technically he could nuke Malenia and Heligtree together with a giant meteor. It would've solved a lot of issues.

The coolest part about this fight is that radahn is even more of a mindless puppet here than he was in the outskirts of caelid. The scarlet rot had eaten away at his senses making him a slave to his base animalistic impulses. Here he is 100% controlled by miquelas charm. He was resurrected in this form by miquela with moghs corpse because he refused to be miquelas consort initially during the shattering war. Even malenias support of miquela is heavily implied to be due to miquelas charm. Miquelas lore is so sinister and intriguing
No he is definitely not mindless all the Allie’s of Leda were also under Miquellas influence but they weren’t mindless especially Leda. Other than their newfound intense loyalty to Miquella they were fully in control of all of their faculties

This is what happened with my first time "beating" Malenia. After struggling for days and hundreds of attempts, phase 2 starts with her on the ground, without refilling her health bar, scarlet rotted, dead in 1 second. Hours of trying to master the fight wasted.

Seeing Kai damn near cry at the end with over 1000 deaths then seeing the guy after him kill Radahn in 2 hits is crazy lmao. I personally have not beaten Radahn yet. I have the first phase down to a tee but its those damn holy attacks that i still cant understand
I think Radahn used the meteor attack against me more than 20 times, but the arena is kinda small and the fight is so fast that i couldnt even stop to look at it, i just started running. 😭
For people who don’t know how to beat Radahn, you can cheese him by using the finger shield talismans to boost the shield and use a spear with lots of bleed and poke him to death guarding. Also use two headed turtle for greater stamina recovery speed. And if anyone says this is the bitch way then why is it in the game, boo-hoo.
i used moore’s shield(90 guard boost tho black knights shield with holy ash of war has 100% holy negate) and antspur rapier set up for rot poison and bleed(seppuku with poison) the one problem is Radaniel has physical and 3 elements T-T

I was super eager to beat him before the potential nerf but, if I’m being honest, I don’t really see him being nerfed since he is the endgame boss and there really is nothing unfair about him. I feel like they only nerfed the original radahn because his hitboxes were slightly out of wack and the boss was slight too OP for a mid game boss but prime radahn is different. He is very beatable once you understand the pattern. Once I had my whole strategy in place I beat him on my second attempt of said strategy (took me a longgggg while to develop said strategy tho, even when my build was in place tho lol).

It's been over a week bro besides countless others are showing the boss like this cut him some slack like seriously plus this boss fucking sucked. Especially Phase 2.
I feel Fromsoft will nerf Radahn (Again). That second phase seems to have no down time so you have no real chance to heal or cast. You can’t completely dodge all the sword attacks either since you’ll get get by the delayed magic that follows. I only just got to Radahn and after a few deaths I decided to instead explore the rest of the shadowlands and do the other bosses instead for now 😅
A few of the bosses have no chill hey. Always does my head in that you can't even get in through the door to summon your mimic and they are on you like black Friday sales shoppers.
He is very beatable, it just takes time. My strat for melee. Use shield to block when he does most of his hologram/speed of light moves and the left hand, right hand criss cross swipe. Never swing after coming out of a long period of blocking to ensure you don’t run out of stamina which you can’t afford in the second phase. Always keep health at full during the second phase and rarely ever attempt getting more than one hit in at a time during the second phase so you have time to react to whatever his next move is
Stuck on the same fight right now, and I have to say... I'm not even angry. The second phase of this fight sucks all the fun out of it, and all that's left in me is not rage but a feeling of quiet resignation. Loved the rest of the DLC to bits, but this second phase of this very last fight is utterly unenjoyable.
@@Hi_iamTonka I think close to 200 with Scadu 18, or something like that. But also, I'm mediocre at best when it comes to Soul Games. Plus, I use two NPC summons for the fight for reasons that would be somewhat spoilers if I shared them here. But that makes the fight even harder, of course... Without them, I would probably get through that fight in a couple of attempts, but still... that second phase wouldn't be enjoyable

Vigor - 80 Endurance - 60 Str and Dex - 65 Faith - Enough to use Messmer's Orb Arcane - 99 (to take Bleed build up in the backhanded blades to over 100) Don't put anything on Int, you don't need it Put whatever you have left in mind Use the best Great Rune in the game that boosts all your stats. Mimic should have the bleed blades and the dragon communion seal (so he can use any incantation thats extremely powerful, Bayle's wing, Messmer's orb, anything that doesnt use int), that makes it double the bleed at a faster pace and you having the wall of china as a shield and being mindful of stamina and using anything that can buff your defense you reduce damage taken from being 2/3 shotted to being able to survive 5 to 6 hits. You can beat DLC Radahn in 10 minutes because you and your mimic will be moving fast enough to simply take agro enough times with causing about 3 to 4 bleeds.
If someone has the answer, can you please explain to me how the last guy can kill him so quickly, when he looks like his level is in somewhere in the hundreds, and how I'm level 416 and only do moderate damage? I know there's incantations, spells, and other stuff you can use to buff up your character, but feel I like even if I used every powerup in the game, it would still take me more than 2 hits to kill him at my level.
Died almost 200 times to Radahn alone, fighting him solo (without summons, broken perfume build or magic) was one of the toughest challenges I've faced in any videogame.

Use the blasphemous blade if you have the stats or have a larval tear to respec. I know some people consider it a cheese weapon but at least you'll beat him & can get onto the final bosses. It's how I beat him. It staggers him.
damn what a boss tried him for 2 days with my own build didn't work tried the bloodfiend build did it in 7 tries honestly without that build with that huge bleed build up I don't think I would have beaten him
I beat Radahn only after 6 tries. Also consort doesn't only mean Husband or Wife, the setting is like old century english when you use it as Companion or and agreement.
yeah, I was having a great time portalling in a helping people co-op other bosses, figured I was ruling the DLC. Then I got to the end nd got my ass handed to me over and over by this guy... Finally got past the a-hole but he's a huge step up from other bosses imo
Lion in 13 Rellana in 18 Messmer in 34 Radahn in I have no clue how many attempts it took so I’ll just make a random guess and say 120 (because it took me around 12 hours of gameplay to beat him

He's too close to Radahn, so the hit box doesn't reach him. It happened to me a couple of times.

I feel Fromsoft will nerf Radahn (Again). That second phase seems to have no down time so you have no real chance to heal or cast. You can’t completely dodge all the sword attacks either since you’ll get get by the delayed magic that follows. I only just got to Radahn and after a few deaths I decided to instead explore the rest of the shadowlands and do the other bosses instead for now 😅
A few of the bosses have no chill hey. Always does my head in that you can't even get in through the door to summon your mimic and they are on you like black Friday sales shoppers.
He is very beatable, it just takes time.
My strat for melee. Use shield to block when he does most of his hologram/speed of light moves and the left hand, right hand criss cross swipe. Never swing after coming out of a long period of blocking to ensure you don’t run out of stamina which you can’t afford in the second phase. Always keep health at full during the second phase and rarely ever attempt getting more than one hit in at a time during the second phase so you have time to react to whatever his next move is
You can dodge EVERY attack from him, you just dont know how.
I’ve beaten him 2 hours after first contact.

Stuck on the same fight right now, and I have to say... I'm not even angry. The second phase of this fight sucks all the fun out of it, and all that's left in me is not rage but a feeling of quiet resignation. Loved the rest of the DLC to bits, but this second phase of this very last fight is utterly unenjoyable.

@@Hi_iamTonka I think close to 200 with Scadu 18, or something like that. But also, I'm mediocre at best when it comes to Soul Games. Plus, I use two NPC summons for the fight for reasons that would be somewhat spoilers if I shared them here. But that makes the fight even harder, of course...
Without them, I would probably get through that fight in a couple of attempts, but still... that second phase wouldn't be enjoyable

Solitude Armor set, Bleed Backhanded blades with swift slash, fingerprint shield no skill, dragon communion seal, doubled headed turtle talisman (I butchered the name probably), Erdtree blessing +2, the bleed attack buff talisman and for the 4th talisman just put whatever you want.
Vigor - 80
Endurance - 60
Str and Dex - 65
Faith - Enough to use Messmer's Orb
Arcane - 99 (to take Bleed build up in the backhanded blades to over 100)
Don't put anything on Int, you don't need it
Put whatever you have left in mind
Use the best Great Rune in the game that boosts all your stats.
Mimic should have the bleed blades and the dragon communion seal (so he can use any incantation thats extremely powerful, Bayle's wing, Messmer's orb, anything that doesnt use int), that makes it double the bleed at a faster pace and you having the wall of china as a shield and being mindful of stamina and using anything that can buff your defense you reduce damage taken from being 2/3 shotted to being able to survive 5 to 6 hits.
You can beat DLC Radahn in 10 minutes because you and your mimic will be moving fast enough to simply take agro enough times with causing about 3 to 4 bleeds.
If someone has the answer, can you please explain to me how the last guy can kill him so quickly, when he looks like his level is in somewhere in the hundreds, and how I'm level 416 and only do moderate damage? I know there's incantations, spells, and other stuff you can use to buff up your character, but feel I like even if I used every powerup in the game, it would still take me more than 2 hits to kill him at my level.

Breaking stuff adds more entertainment and comedic vibes to a content which generates views, likes and money so in the end it can be seen as pretty good business move as long as you get out of it more than the worth of controller and the time and effort of getting new 1. Being a streamer/youtuber can be viewed as running a business since you have to actually think about a lot of things that you would have to think when being in other entertainment businesses.

Streaming is something that you can do too, but only a fraction of them will ever make it big. Just like singers, comedians, actors, producers, and athletes, there are millions of them that try to make it big or are super talented but never get recognized.

Use the blasphemous blade if you have the stats or have a larval tear to respec. I know some people consider it a cheese weapon but at least you'll beat him & can get onto the final bosses. It's how I beat him. It staggers him.

I beat Radahn only after 6 tries. Also consort doesn't only mean Husband or Wife, the setting is like old century english when you use it as Companion or and agreement.

yeah, I was having a great time portalling in a helping people co-op other bosses, figured I was ruling the DLC. Then I got to the end nd got my ass handed to me over and over by this guy... Finally got past the a-hole but he's a huge step up from other bosses imo
