    Love the story! Just wish they didn’t have Polyvinyl Alcohol as an ingredient in the sheet itself as that’s a polymer plastic and it does harm the environment. A little blurb from online: while it is designed to dissolve, it doesn’t necessarily disappear. The study suggests that over 75% of PVA persists in our waterways and our soil after it dissolves in laundry and dish washing machines, flows through wastewater and ultimately back into our environment.
    Does PVA Biodegrade?
    PVA is designed to dissolve in water and it can biodegrade. However, the study shows that conditioners necessary for complete biodegradation of PVA are extremely specific. In order for PVA to fully biodegrade it requires the presence of very specific microorganisms and enzymes to aid in the degradation process. In addition to these microorganisms, it also requires a specific amount of time in the wastewater water treatment facility.

      Especially when they're talking "environmental" and there's pallets of shrink-wrapped imported products behind them 🤦🤦🤦. And let's not mention the fuel used to import their cheap products sold for a huge mark up.
      People are waking up and globalisation is coming to an end....Aussie made will make far more $$$$

  • @jskrbk

    Each country has already like 10-20 brands of those sheets. P&G has already selling it everywhere. Too late. Maybe 1 year left.
    Plus at least in the EU there are huge law requirements, certificates to start selling chemicals from China. Costs up to 50k euro per product. Otherwise huge, huge fines.

    • @DavieFogarty
      @DavieFogarty  ปีที่แล้ว +40

      P&G aren’t gods. I’d happily compete with them with a product that works on digital. Look at the teeth whitening brands doing $100m+

      @@DavieFogarty Europe is totally packed with those. Just in Germany I've counted like 25 indie brands with those sheets. Poland like 15. France 15+. I mean brand 10k+ followers on Instagram. Most of them started 2-3 years ago.
      Just saying, planty copycats of TruEarth and Kind Laundry. I was thinking about doing it like 2 years ago. Plus those sheets don't really work. Bad reviews on Amazon etc.

      It’s all about the content. If you can somehow figure out how to go viral on social media (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) you’d be able to sell anything. Not saying you’d do $100k/day but $5k/day sounds good
