    This is a much more realistic take on manufacturing than your previous videos where people say “I can make a product with $500 and set up my shop in a week”. The whole sampling and creation process to set up a legit store takes a year or even more. Sampling, ideation, freight, research, etc.

    • @Ghosty716
      @Ghosty716 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      A year? That's how you research forever and never make money. Plenty of people have set up there shop in a week off of sample and if you think it needs to take months and years you'll have a tough time getting anything started let alone making money

    • @marvinwilliams7938
      @marvinwilliams7938 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Ghosty716 that's what I first thought as well, but I can obviously tell you havn't actually gone through the process because if you did, you would realise it's total bs. You're just listening to a bunch of scammers or fast money grifters dropshipping the same thing.
      If you actually want to create a real longlasting brand with a competitive advantage, you will know what I am saying is true, which is what Davie is reiterating in this video. It literally might take 2 months just to get your packages from sea. Just think about that for a second.

    • @thomasvandenheuvel3680
      @thomasvandenheuvel3680 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marvinwilliams7938 you don't need to ship domestic. Find a manufacturer, get some modifications in and start selling. Much like dropshipping but with branded inventory. Then you take the product and improve it further along the way by collecting customer feedback. That's how you make money faster and don't get stuck with shit you imported and can't sell because you thought you had to have a finished product from the get-go.

    I don't feel like I've seen like any clothing brands with a unique service proposition. Maybe I'm not understanding that but like... I can think of a good hundred clothing brands and not a single one of them actually seems unique from several others. I'm wracking my brain over trying to figure out a good USP but I can't invent time traveling socks. Is this just a buzzword?
