Hey. I'm sorry for yesterday. I was in the bright sun, below zero, walking and trying to engage with you. We have the same philosophy. And it's about freaking time.
Yeah I agree with this… local shelter by me has “mutts” that cost $450 😂 they’ve already been neutered which is not what I want.. and yeah they claim the $450 is a “adoption donation” 😂 for a dog they cannot tell me the breed… I’m not a big fan of getting super inbred “purebred” dogs due to complications with the purebred process but it seems to me that buying from a breeder who actually cares is better than the county
I think the original purpose was a good thing, but when people's livelihood gets involved certain people can get greedy and forget the original purpose.
How about shelters neutering young puppies without reqard for the heath implications? They make you out to be a bad owner if you decide against spaying or neutering, but there are benefits to include breeding if you have good genetics. They want to corner the market and get $600 for a mutt puppy.
Yep... Something to it for sure.
I thought public shelters asked for like 20 bucks... 300 or 700 for a god-knows-what's-in-it dog!?? Damn... Thanks for letting the world know!
On average it's around 200 to 300 to "adopt" a dog from your local government funded puppy mills
I was shocked the last time I visited my local Humane society this year... $300 kittens and $600 puppies of unknown origin. They got super greedy.

All my dogs are healthy.
