Got married Saturday, and my last minute tips are packing lots of snacks and water bottles in your room even if you're at a hotel. You're gonna come back late with your honey, hungry after a late night. Room service for most hotels won't be running after midnight.
The idea of hiring a cleaner to do my house while I’m at my wedding so I come home to a clean house is sounding like an amazing thing to add to the budget

This video came at the perfect time! I got engaged at the end of August 2019 and I planned to have a short 9 month engagement... and then Covid happened. Since getting engaged me and my fiance have gone through four job changes, buying our first house, multiple family bereavements, two wedding postponements and a whole pandemic.
We are now 20 days away. Despite living in the UK and some stuff being different these videos have been so helpful. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful resource.

I’m 25 days out and I keep waking up freaking out but thank you soo much it helps so much!❤
For us we asked one Mother to be in charge of gifts and one for rescuing our DIYs and asked a bridesmaid and groomsperson to assist in each case.picked them up just before we left for honeymoon on the Sunday, It worked out well. I had a spreadsheet on Google that they all had access to. I knew my mum and MIL would be sober and able to co-ordinate it, wouldn't forget and we knew they would be ok. We weren't sure how people would deviate from the registry so having the groomsman and bridesmaid to lift anything they couldn't helped.
3 weeks out. Literally was binge re-watching all these videos to make sure I didn’t miss anything. This is so helpful

This is perfect because my wedding is in 26 days!! Been planning and watching you since 2019! Excited. 🥰 But sooooo stressed!!! I fly to Hawaii in 1.5 weeks and need to get everything done before I leave. And then I have 2 weeks there before the wedding day.
I just wanted to say thank you for being you and doing what you do! I have already watched so many of your videos n I'm SO GREATFUL! I have over a year to plan but I was so freaked out to even start planning because I don't have a lot of people to help and our budget is less than 5K. I was SO overwhelmed watching other videos but you make me feel confident that I can do this and be 100% prepared. If I had a bigger budget you'd be the first one I'd hire! Keep being awesome and thanks for being the calm to my wedding planning storm!

also! on Netflix theres a new korean drama called welcome to wedding hell and it's about a newly engaged couple going through the ups and downs of the wedding planning process and i would be so interested in your reaction to it (it's short only 12 eps!) moreso how relatable the stressors can be! theres of course some cultural differences like different events but like still a good watch!

Would you mind talking about the difference between your marriage license and marriage certificate? And what's needed for them/if they're both needed to be brought to the venue on the day of the wedding? I know every state has different requirements but just general info would be so helpful!
generally speaking the license is what is being signed on the day of the wedding and is afterwards sent to whatever city/county clerk that deals with marriages in your area that then processes it and sends you the official certificate.

This is important & valuable advice. Is this all on a list somewhere that can be printed out?
It might seem like a no brainer BUT after a year or so of planning Time does run out. So get everything done a week ahead so you don’t run out of time to get everything done. Extra things may fill up some of your time inevitably.

My question is for a wedding program who gets the wedding program? Do I need to make one for everyone coz my guest are about 200 or can I just put one wedding program on each table? Please advice. Thank you! And hate to be that person bc it is free!! But it’s a lot of steps to print out the checklist. Also it doesn’t seem to want to print from my phone. One you click on the link there are ways to make it go straight to the pdf which you can then print.. it’s a lot of hoops to then ask you to potentially download an app or go to drop box. Just a suggestion don’t hate me!! 💜

Oh dear wedding I was in as a bridesmaid, we went back to the getting ready location to get stuff after the ceremony, it was locked, got pulled over. The wedding was v unorganized, so we didn’t really know the chronology of things. After we got pulled over we get there and the brides mad at us for being late. Honestly we thought they would’ve just has their entrance. The bride has no idea we got pulled over, but was piiiiised we went back to the getting ready place. We also got done reason went back after the reception in different cars than we came.

I’m only tipping vendors who are an employee of a company and don’t get the money directly from us🤔 is that okay? For example our DJ sees 100% of what we pay him but the catering team will be paid by someone else so we will tip them

I'm less than two weeks away and I feel paranoid that all these lists are forgetting lists of stuff because I have that looming feeling that I will forget/overlook/be unprepared for something important
I just stopped following up with people who didn't RSVP, some of them were literally acting like they could wait until the week of to decide because they might have "something else going on". Like obviously they don't respect our time at all so we just marked them all no. If they do show up they better bring a chair and packed lunch. 🤷♀️
