ive done this countless times, and i still cant find the rock he gets to If anyone else gets this same problem, keep jumping of into the void and resetting the ascendant challenge until you get the same circular platform he stands on when he does it. The jump is possible with warlock and Titan, but hunters may struggle without the sword. Once the platform is the same as in the video (one with no grass or orb on the ground of it) then you just make the jump he did in the video
This took me forever yesterday. I like the way you shown the best. Now I need to do the time trial since I didn't know I had to exit. I was wondering about that. Thanks.
So tip (because I got stuck for literally like 45 min) if you're a hunter and can't make the jump, go to the other platform and jump on the cover. Then, look at the wall closest to you and jump to the little later scale looking things. Then, and it's a pain, you have to jump one more over before you're close enough to barely make the jump. Super helpful video though!
Finally got the time trial on this one this week. This one is really tough, little to no margin for error and a bit of RNG on which exit you get (not to mention those acolytes that like to hide). thanks for the pointers!

Thanks for this video. Had watched a different one for last week and after seeing the one they had for this week looked for another and found yours. They showed about the eggs and bones as they went and since i don't have the bow that made things confusing. Wanted to get the bones but, after multiple ur-dur moments first just getting to the portal then again getting across to the ritual i decided against it. Getting the sword and beating the knights was actually the easy part, lol. Set the sword down long enough to snipe the enemies from distance w/xeno then gtfo of there (after opening the chest of course). #yeet
Guys for the first egg, you Dont have to jump on the rampart shield, just from the rampart jump on the little hook right under the target location your trying to jump to. its a little lamp on the side of the dome your trying to reach. =)
Here's a tip for the first egg (the one you have to get on the roof for). Use something like a scout rifle to get an idea as to where you wanna shoot the arrow. When you see "immune" pop up, you are near the right area. The only spot I found which works is the very small corner at the right side of the egg sticking out (Ebontis shoots at that area with a pulse rifle in the vid). The Wish Ender bow shoots slightly to the left of where you aim (I noticed this like a good hour after raging over this shot) so just aim your shot slightly to the left of the tiny corner of the egg. Experiment by moving the aim slightly up and down and you should hopefully get this shot. It's not that easy so don't worry if it takes you many tries. For my first run through the ascendant challenge I ran out of arrows ;-;. Good luck.
Btw, thanks a ton for these vids! They help big time! I don't have the wishender bow yet, but I will definitely be revisiting these vids once I do for the eggs. Keep up the great vids!
There is a better path for the egg that requires going to the rear of the spire, egg number two here. ManoDestra shows that in his video, which I went looking for after seeing how wild this is. No Destiny designer would require you to fly blindly with the sword over half the map, and they don't. You launch off where there's a stairway to nowhere attached to the main, central gazebo, fly out to another gazebo behind an oval rock with a hole in it, and from there you can see the mountain. Jump, sword fly a short distance and then climb the rock on the left side. Easy to do, easy to find. Also, the first egg, once you get on top of the gazebo you can snipe it right from there with the bow. Just have to keep firing and adjusting your aim a little and you can shoot it from the top of the gazebo you jumped to.

Hey I know this is an old video and old content but i think this triumph is bugged now, I am not able to get the triumph after numerous sub 2:30min runs, with sword equipped and looting chest. This and Forfeit Shrine are the last ones i need for my secret victories emblem which in turn will unlock my Forsaken and Dreaming City badges, its really really frustrating to say the least
You should have mentioned that you need to have the sword for the chest to spawn at the end. I did it three times and did not understand what I was doing different from the video and I eventually had to look it up.
Ok - I got a motivational crisis. So I thought I "just" do the eggs. I cannot get the first egg. You mentioned a sword travel that you can avoid - but after 100 arrows, I think my egg is broken or I am imagining things.
vaughan smith depending on which egg you are talking about, if you use stompees, you can jump on the gazebos in the main area pretty easily, without them, you need to jump from the top of the little wall on the 2nd floor to get on top of the gazebo, and facing the two gazebos, jump on top of the left one, then if you stand on top of it, you will see a glowing item way off in the distance, if you stand on the left side of the roof of that gazebo and shoot at it, that’s the egg, it takes a few tries but you will get the egg that way, the other egg you need the sword and you just jump towards the middle platform facing the gazebos and then go right and across to the circle platform, from there when the lightning flashes you should see a mountain in the distance, you can sword fly out to that mountain then jump around the outside of it all the way up to where the other egg is
So the Wish Ender bow is something you get from the Shattered Throne Dungeon. Its the only thing you can shoot the eggs with and they drop a random roll from the dreaming city loot pool, both armor and weapons.
Michael Perez also once you collect all 40 eggs with the Wish Ender bow it gives you an exotic Taken sparrow called Harbinger’s Echo now that Bungie has finally fixed the glitches with that quest! 😁
I have done this damn challenge every time its here and no matter how fast i am it won't give me triumph. And yes i know how to do it every nook and cranny. Its gotta be bugged for me.
Yeah its a time thing and this one has been the hardest for me but i finally got it. Keep moving and kill the knights as quick as you can then head to the chest grab it and out the portal as quick as possible. The direction you head to the portal can be different so some ways might be easier than others.
is there a way so u can bring a second character up to current power of your main character? cuz i want to switch from hunter to warlock and i wont have any decent level armour
Transfer all 3 your high level weapons to warlock. Get all armor pieces from collections. Now your light level is higher. Do this over and over until you plateau. Good luck!
Archie D he means keep transferring weapons btw characters and pulling armor from collections in order to continuously raise light lvl, I have only one toon currently but it makes sense
Stem Cell it resets every time you leave the portal if you were the only one inside, otherwise just fast travel to divalian mist then go back to harbinger’s seclude

I fucking hate this challenge [new player here] I think I did all the other ones but this one I just can't.. after the first knight death it's just mad chaos. Dmg from all sides, and to make things worst they make you jump all the way up to the portal to enter again.. fuck! *sigh* I'll try again tomorrow.
these Ascendant challenges are some the reasons why people hate this game. of all content to create, they create content that cannot be consumed because of the "anger" that it causes 65% of the players that attempt this shit. aside from the lag in pvp. this is by far the WORST PVE content i have ever seen in any game. not fun at all

If you're a warlock, you can also use Nova Warp's teleport to get to egg #1 from that shield-thing in case your sword times out or whatever

first egg: jump from the little wall on the candle inside. From the candle its a lot easier with a few sword sweeps.

Hi. i confirm that this one is bugged BUT Forfeit Shrine is okay, done it just fine.

Did it on my titan with the bounty to complete an ascendant challange (this had worked for me in the past) and i got the time trial completed :D
