Mostly it will just mark on metals. A 20 watt optical output diode laser will cut some very thin metals. You could go up to a CO2 laser and cut metals, or use a plasma cutter.

Love your reviews! They are actually genuine.
:)
I think that extra part is to hook up the optional air assist.
probably!
Nice review! Have you tried cutting through 6mm of hard maple yet? I'm curios to know how many passes that would take using air assist.
About 5 passes!

Can you please tell me which one is better for you this one or xTool D1 10 w?
In terms of software the D1 but in terms of speed and productivity the Ortur.
Overall I would suggest to buy the Ortur though! :)
@@RockHardWoodDaddy Thank you

Laser e^10.6470664 into some wood or just e^10 for the engineers in chat😎
Hello there, when you were doing the hardwood cut-through test at 11:00, what was your laser speed?
300mm/min if I remember correctly :) Pretty fast honestly!
@@RockHardWoodDaddy many thanks!
My pleasure! :)
Can it cut metals or would I need a plasma cutter for that?

Awesome laser, will u be using it in projects and stuff?
make a fractal with it 💪😎
Nost definitely!!! :)
I think you meant "$50 off" and not "50% off" in the description...
yes!!! Oh god, thanks for pointing out the typo!!!
You are trying to do much in one video.
