The tumbler is great. I’ve used one for years. But store the pins and plastic bin off the tumbler. Over time they will magnetize and stop working as well.
Also, occasionally clean the pins by adding a 1/4 tsp of Lemishine Citric acid crystals (Dish washing Isle at the grocer) crystals to the tumble cycle. It will brighten the pins to look like new.
Very cool. I know ex-airforce guys love their coin collections and will have small custom batches made for whatever club or event they may want them for. I could see that being a little niche to cover. Those are often painted as well. Great results on the coin you did!
This is such a cool use case for small batch or one-off coins! A couple questions, if you don't mind? 1. For a one-off coin such as this in the video, if you were to sell it, what would your estimated price be? 2. Would you consider doing similar customer jobs for custom one-off coins, similar to this? 3. Immoral to sell it, imo. Midjourney uses datasets illegally scraped from the internet. So it is in fact stealing from artists. If you're going to make a production item to sell, pay an artist to make a design for you. You'll more than make up your cost anyways if it's a good product..
