Iam sure ur aware but studies have show keeping the bio media as clean as possible is best for bacteria to thrive but to each his own .....great set up and love ur work
It’s good to see you back Jurijs! I hope all is well with you and the family, and bunnies! I look forward to seeing more videos! And for sure use wood and rock! This is giving me motivation to set up my uns 60u I have laying around! Can’t wait to see what you do!
YAY!!! Jurijs video! Definitely missed seeing your content and some updates to the new gallery. I'm hoping for a combo scape of rock and wood, can't wait to see what you create!
Glad to see you back in my suggestions again ! About the filter media order. The water flows to bottom through the prefilter and than back up through the baskets. So it would make more sense if you would have the big sponge first. Than in the 2nd basked the brown sponge first with filterfloss on top and than biological media in the rest. The top basked could hold active carbon or purigen when needed alongside some biomedia. With this order the biomedia stays the cleanest.
Finally, Juris you have made so many great videos over the years, many that I have been more than happy to watch your Playlist 2 - 3 times and I am sure able to understand much more than when I started 4 + years ago!!! I am curious about the small glass display from ADA , I remembered that you mentioned that you were hoping to add it to your collection ? Glad to hear that you have some videos to make , as always I look forward to the next time!!!!
