I fell in love with Faiz’s poetry when I was 18, when I first read his stanza on the fly leaf of his book Nuskha-hai-wafa:
Aaj yun dil mein teri khoi hui yaad aaey
I am 50 now, and still just as much in love with his poetry! I’m from Pakistan, and I am so humbled and gratified to see all of you from India being such staunch followers of him! Thank you!! He was a revolutionary poet and he continues to impact the lives of many, many people.
Love faiz ji ka work.Iam form karnataka, India. We had PEHLI SI MOHABBATH translated in english, as our English syllabus in Hihg school.From then I started admiring his work.And translted his work into telugu.( Malli kooraku nannu na prema,,,okappatila....).His work is gift to genarations.

'FAIZ HEE FAIZ' by Smt Primila Puri who was an eminent pupil of Ustad Munawar A Khan Sahab. I have misplaced the cassete and cannot find the CD in Pakistan or India. Please put your rsourses to work and upload her fabulous renderings. You will enjoy them. Thanks
