There's no way to explain it. Words don't have meanings to these people. They live their lives purely emotionally and instinctively (also why they're all "polyam" and have other unhinged sexual habits, their sexual behavior is solely based on instinct, like in animals). A word means what they feel it should mean at a given time.

So often I hear people disdainfully say, "That's something people did in the 1950s". Apparently we're supposed to think that the 1950s were a fundamentally evil time and anything that was done then must be bad, because ... why, exactly? Most of what gets put in this category is things like, Women made an effort to make themselves pretty. People thought of marriage as a life-time commitment (rather than something to last until we don't feel like it any more). Men treated women with dignity and respect. People loved their country People obeyed the law. Mental illness was seen as a sad thing rather than something to be celebrated. I conclude that the 1950s must have been a much better time than today.

I grew up in the 50’s born in July 1949 so by 1960 I was 11 had been driving my farm parents pickup truck on grandpa’s farm during hay seasons. Believed in respect, God and the Freedom of the US, was taught that Men loved and protected girls and women, everyone had a right to freedom and could be Catholic although I thought Baptist was a better choice, was convinced that an atheist was delusional but it was their right to be stupid and my right to think they were stupid but was taught to be polite and not tell them they were stupid until they told me that I was stupid then we had a disagreement.

It's actually possible to be single in your 30s. Believe it or not some relationships end even in your 40s. Sometimes your partner leaves or dies. I know, it's shocking not everyone has the forever relationships.

My sister is allergic to cigarette smoke, she literally cannot breathe... she went to an old bowling alley for a party, the kind with carpeted walls. She started having trouble breathing cause the smoke was in the carpet, no one was actively smoking and she had an asthma attack and had to be on a breathing machines for days after. Anytime someone is smoking nearby she starts having trouble breathing if she doesn't hold her breath til she gets a safe distance away.

People can be allergic to anything... And with something so toxic to human health as cigarette smoke, it makes a ton of sense for there to be allergies to it. It's one of the few "smart" allergies for the body to choose to be allergic to. Like can you imagine being allergic to water? That's happened too. Bodies are crazy

Yeah, being single these days is a bit of a nightmare. Dating apps are where you're expected to meet people, and this video is an accurate representation of what they offer. Churches and other traditional communities no longer host functions that in the past provided a space for single people to mix and match, instead they offload that responsibility to the broader culture.
It sucks.
I am an active churchgoer and in the last 15 years I committed myself with four different churches and visited even more. I can confirm that there’s always a predominant representation of single women of all ages at each church I had been too. The church’s message is always: wait upon the Lord…and not everyone is called to marriage so be happy with what you have.
I find that really disappointing.
@@cypresse1620 this is interesting, at the churches and I've been to there's been a significant over-representation of single men (High church, conservative, Anglican). I wonder if it's possible that while churches may be fairly well represented by both sexes, this is due to families and couples. Perhaps when it comes to singles, they are self-sorting into different types of churches that appeal to masculine or feminine temperaments.
I was kinda hoping to just run into a guy when out at Costco or one of the other grocery stores but then I remember that means actually interacting or smiling at guys and not acting like a scared Chihuahua. 🤔 Thankfully, I have two really cute little boys that make the best dates in the world & think that I'm the absolute funniest Mom because I was a tomboy. At least I can make a 4 and 7 year old laugh.
My church also does a crap job at that. They have a youth group and a young adults group. After that they have a men's group and a women's group. So if you're not married by 22, too bad.
I don't even want special groups, just a clear carve out within extant social events where single Christians pursuing one another is not only possible, but expected and encouraged.

Lately I realised a SIGNIFICANT increase of men who describe themselves as bi and poly… Seriously ladies: it’s not possible to find a “one woman one time” kinda guy anymore… There is no future in modern dating. As a chubby person on a dating site; we've been told that if we don't mention our weight, and we meet someone on the site, they're going to call off the date immediately. Giving people that honesty first, gives people the opportunity to confirm or deny a match before making contact if your not comfortable with that, and so we're not talking and making connections with each other before finding out and making things awkward before breaking it off.
And not all of us are doing this. 'I'm fat and this is what I am. You're just going to have to accept me.' BS. I know my weight is not healthy. I've been working with my Dr about it, and we've been working on a plan for me about it. But I'm still not cleared for exercise yet due to an injury. (My latest injury, I have a hazardous job) right now, he's okay with the fact that I'm maintaining my weight when I wasn't allowed to even walk. But, I'm extremely conservative, and as of late the conservative group has been very forward with disrespect boarderline distain for me because people are making the assumption that I'm a 'lazy liberal that thinks this way while disrespecting other people and spends all my money on junk food and eats like a 'gavone'''. When 1- I work 7 days a week at multiple jobs and each day 8-10 hours average. Depending on how busy it gets. I consider this the opposite of 'lazy'
2- I'm definitely not a liberal- I do my best to treat everyone with respect even when I dont get it in return. Apparently being big means I'm a liberal now, and i guess I haven't seen the Tiktoks about it and so it came out of left field for me(no pun intended) I realized it when I wrote it
3- I don't spend all my money on junk food. My problem is after bills, gas, and inflation, I do go for lower quality food items because they are cheaper than buying whole foods every week. But I don't buy snacks often at all, and even when I do its for my kids/family/company over and I get a regular portion.
I don't know why this is even a thing now for the left and the right to be fighting about, but it's bunch of BS and its much harder for some people to lose weight than other people realize, but that doesnt mean all of us that are bigger aren't working on losing weight at all or that its going to be a fast and easy process that were just refusing to change to.
But I've been seeing more and more conservatives bring up weight when its someone they disagree with and I became more conservative leaning initially because I thought conservatives were less likely to bring someones looks up in a agrument more than liberals.

Not everyone is overweight due to lifestyle choices. There are medication side effects, hormone disorders, extended injuries, genetics, the list goes on. Various factors such as metabolic rate can make losing weight more difficult for some people even though they're doing all of the right things.
Not everyone who is overweight wants to stay that way. Most are acutely aware and are trying to get to a healthy weight for their own health, not to look good on a dating site.
Good on you for your honesty and hard working life. As for your struggles, i can relate. I would suggest intermittent fasting as a free way to help with weight loss. That's how I lost my 60 lbs recently. And find cheap food that is healthy that you can just pop in the microwave and be done. I thought it was impossible before but after a lot of research I found options. It's infuriating how this country has made getting healthy nutritious food such an expensive chore. I usually get frozen vegetables and frozen meals that have a lot of vegetables and lean protein. I've been liking those healthy choice power bowls lately. I also snack on unsalted nuts and seeds like pistachios and sunflower seeds. I love kimchi and kefir and protein bars too. Just basically anything that wasnt invented in a lab. If you have to grab something cheap from a fast food place, you can Google the healthiest lower calorie options and choose those instead. Also, drinking only water helps a LOT. All of that and tracking calories should definitely help you. You don't even need to go to the gym or anything since exercise isn't needed for weight loss, but it certainly helps! I found that I wanted to exercise after dropping 20 lbs because I just felt so much more lighter and energetic. So if you think you need exercise, you don't have to start right away as all of that can feel overwhelming and thus unsustainable. What's important is just STARTING. You can make a small change at a time and after seeing the benefits of that, you'll naturally start wanting to do more. For me, I jumped right into fasting, which gave my taste buds a break and processed foods just didn't taste right to me anymore. And I realized how shitty they've made me feel all my life. So I naturally switched to healthy because I HATED that feeling of brain fog and blood sugar spike induced anxiety attacks I got from the bad foods. My mental health is so much better and my mysterious aches and pains I had are gone. No more back or foot pain! Just look up the effects of spinal pressure.
Anyway, I don't mean to preach at you or be a health nut douche. You just seem like a smart amazing person I can relate to and I can tell you're not the fat activist type, just genuinely struggling like I did. I have hope for you, you sound more disciplined than me and very capable. I wish you the best of luck!

Female here who used to love both whiskey and cigars. It was a passtime my father and I shared while discussing life and all the things at midnight on the boat dock. Unfortunately, I ran into some unrelated health issues and had to do a clean sweep of all things remotely unhealthy from my diet. I will forever miss those nights 💜
The men in my life growing up taught me to love the smell of a good cigar, the smell of an auto shop, and really good wine.

Oh, you have no idea. I'm a woman so i only talk to the men (usually) but...wow. so many of them want to be cuckolded. You are right. I love animals and I think that is a big part of my personality. I would love to own an animal Shelter one day and I’m working towards achieving this goal.
