I loved how X-Men TAS, right from the start, put the audience in a fully immersed world of mutant superheros, villains, and decades of feuds and rivalries and you just had to accept and roll with it instead of being force-fed 20 different origin stories to begin. When I was a kid, I didn't know the extent of the hatred and history between Wolverine and Sabretooth, I just knew from their initial reactions that it had to have been fierce. Which leads me to one of my favorite scenes, when Wolverine confronts Sabretooth in the mansion in Episode Three: "Alright you egg sucking piece of gutter trash! You always liked pushing around people smaller than you! Well, I'm smaller! Try pushing me!" accompanied with a frenzied roar of rage, I was hooked. Top tier line delivery.

Xmentas was LIFE growing up (hence the screen name 10:38) The energy of this show was so different from anything we had experienced up to that point which is largely due to Eric & Julia Lewald, Margaret Loesch, Larry Houston & the rest of that team fighting for a FAITHFUL adaptation of the source material. They gave us so much more at a time when so much less was expected of animated programming. The fact no live action adaptation (yet) has truly delivered like XmenTAS DELIVERED this universe to it's audience is a testament to it's greatness. Wolverine and Rogue are my favorite X-Men of all time
I don’t care if Wolverine is a cliche pick, his rough personality, mixed with his not often showed soft side, make him one of the coolest characters in fiction, not to mention those famous claws!!
Sure, I like how Rogue looks in this series, beauty wise, but character wise, her backstory and relationships are still captivating, anyone who can survive staying stable while living with the burden of not being able to freely touch anyone they love, takes a lot of heart
Which is why I still like her character even if she’s made younger

you like wolverine because he is the best one, period. Only trendy douches and try hards have a problem with wolverine because of how they put the weight of the name on Hugh Jackman's shoulders. You geta bunch of feeble minded Twitter rejects going "God WOlverine is played out, do a storm story!" No. Cyclops, Storm, jean, gambit, these motherfuckers are all background characters. THe Xmen franchise, is Xavier, Magneto, and WOlverine front and center

Idk why or when, but Dazzler is one of my favorite X-Men. Wolverine will always be my favorite (as you said, cliche pick but I care about that as much as you do) and I'm also a big fan of Rogue, but Dazzler is just such a cool/interesting character with equally cool/interesting powers. She can absorb sound and convert it into light? Can be used to amplify her performances or withstand a shout from Black Bolt (she's done that more than once in the comics).
Really, her only drawback is that no one seems to know about her because she was only in the first episode of the Dark Phoenix Saga in TAS (technically she was also in the Mojovision episode but she didn't really do anything except hang with Longshot), she wasn't in X-Men: Evolution at all, she was in Wolverine and the X-Men (only as a cameo), her name was on Stryker's computer in X2 (along with about two dozen other mutants' names), and then she made a cameo in X-Men: Dark Phoenix
TL;DR: Dazzler needs to be in more media beyond comics

i can't think about 90s cartoons without smiling and then frowning that it'll never be like that again..the 90s really was a great time to be a kid..and as annoying as it was to wake up early on a Saturday for some of these series it was worth it..i mean really at one point in 95-96 everything that came on Saturday morning was dope and all throughout the week actually but my 2 favorites remain Spiderman and X-Men.. literally impossible to think about X-Men without thinking of that theme song and while im sure my nostalgia plays a part I've recently rewatched alot of these series and they all are just as great as they were in the 90s...my favorite X-Men storyline besides the Dark Phoenix is probably the Phalanx and Time Fugitives

I regret never getting into this show back in the 90s. I only got into it after seeing the first X-Men movie.
One moment from the show that I liked was when that archeologist got Juggernauts powers, he didn't know how strong he actually became. He pulled his jeeps steering wheel off, he took out his doorway, he flattened his couch, his ripped the water spigot off his sink, ripped the door off his fridge, fell through his floor when trying to step on a bug. Then later seeing him at a club trying to pick up a girl. That was one of the more funny moments, but one of the best moments was at the end when Cain got his powers back and he just walked out of the mansion without fighting the X-Men.

I really enjoyed Apocalypse in this cartoon. The voice over actor was perfect. We need an Apocalypse in the live action movies that can act like this. Not that the movie version was terrible. It was just OK for such a phenomenal character. I remember when I saw the post credit scene that teased he was coming. I about lost my mind I was so excited. I also got excited when they hinted at Mister Sinister (Essex). Now that is a character that they NEED to do right. I was really hoping for him to be in that New Mutants movie. Would have made it better I think. I feel that movie had some potential but was so jacked up that it's hard to watch now. You need a good villain to help a movie be successful. A Bear? Really? We can do better than this. Look at the last X-Men movie too. Just a bunch of alien shape shifters. Really? Come on man, this is X-MEN! So many awesome characters to choose from. Villains that I want to see in live action movies, and done well I might add, are Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, Shadow King, Sauron, Omega Red, Mojo, The Brood and a better Hellfire Club.

There was some kind of rumor I thought, that claimed that one of the reasons why Marvel will be bringing this series back is to make these animated X-Men characters the main MCU X-Men. Which is really weird, if the rumors are true and they do end up making them the main MCU X-Men, that is.
