Credit goes to the Ex Chief Minister's vision and the hard work of the Agricultural department. Proud to be a part of Organic Sikkim Mission.
India should adopt the organic farming policy slowly and carefully.
If today India adopt this policy we will be a healthy organic country after 10 years.
iam from sikkim but its not completely organic in market there are 2 stalls organic and non organic we can choose whatever we like to buy, organic items are 3-5 times higher in rate, many of peoples cannot afford this, so most of us force to go for non organic ( imported from west bengal )

Problem with organic farming is people don't buy organic food coz it's costly .
That's the reason farmers don't do that .

Organic farming means more cattles which means more hard work to provide foods to them and is not easy. But Amit Shah's cooperative society where in people sell milk seems okay okay😉. No doubt chemical fertilizers produce more maize comparatively to organic one but we choose health first for India. Love from east sikkim❤️

Sikkim is no longer organic state on this day due to change in government and the new govt is not focusing on organic state. New govt is allowing inorganic vegetables to import from neighboring state WB.
