Some facts: the reason why Bhutan forcefully expelled its Nepalese population from Bhutan was cause it got scared of what happened to the fate of king of Sikkim. The majority of the people who protested against Monarchy of Sikkim and wanted to merge with India was Nepalese population of Sikkim.

After the western, central and eastern Bhutan was united in 16th century, it became a regional power that influenced Sikkim, northeast India till Ladakh. It defeated Tibet in all its attack and even when they brought the Mongols with them in their final attack. It fought with Mughal empire and also the British. It maybe small but it was badass to take on all those big powers. The political manuevering through those times was done very well by the leaders.

So when Ashley Eden mission reached Punakha, Ashley Eden was made to sign the treaty forcefully and he also cited that he was made to sign the treaty forcefully and thus the British declared Duar War in 1864 in response to the shame Ashley Eden underwent in the mission 'Ashley Eden Mission to Bhutan'.

In todays world there is no such thing as protectorate you are either a sovereign nation recognized under the UN charter or you’re not. Bhutan has a treaty of friendship with India but in no way does it undermine its sovereign right to decide its own matters regarding its security nor its foreign policy.
Sir ik the efforts you are making to give students clear idea of what you want to by explaining in Hindi as well as providing Hindi subtitle. However, many students are not so familiar with many Hindi words and face difficulty in reading Hindi. So, kindly provide English subtitles even if the explanations are made in Hindi.

Simple.. Bhutan didnt become a security risk for India, unlike Sikkim. Sikkim's Chongyal was acting like a menace to India, probably under the influence of his american wife.
Bhutan was left alone mainly maybe because Bhutan traditionally had no natural resources which the British could exploit. No oil, no gold, no tea, nor spices, no nothing. It had just high mountains, dense forests and malaria (thank god) and warlike inhabitants who valued their own independence and way of life.
It seems u have no idea about Bhutan at all. Start reading Bhutan history u will know how many times bhutan has defited British army.

@@arpan9937it's their way to deal with it. Better accept it than crying about it. It's not the case specific to Bhutan but because of such Indians the rank of Indian passport is very low compared to what India offers to the world. Letting it go isn't good for both India and Bhutan.

Bhutan used to come to the plains of assam and take away the crops of the villagers in those days. Bhutanese people were very dangerous back in those days

We are letting them negotiate in return that Chinese will go easy in our own border talks with them. Maybe it is possible that we might even exchange some Bhutanese land for our own lost area since 1962.
